A ox is a dirty animal that requires cleaning up after and all of those farm animal responsibilities. But don't give up on it because you can reap a greater harvest with it. Motherhood requires many responsibilities and task but don't give up and go to God with all of your weariness and burdens and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Hey, completely understand how you feel. I am struggling now in a season where I had so much freedom in determining my schedule and now I barely have any say. I am a senior in high school and over the summer is when my growth with the Lord was so special and now being in school with so much temptation and so forth, it's hard!! I am currently struggling with my next steps but I am trying to trust God.
I started a new job recently that's stressful and overwhelming sometimes. One day after work I was so mentally exhausted I could not gather my thoughts to concentrate and read my Bible. In my desperation I just turned everything off, the TV, radio etc and went to the quietest room in my house which was my master bedroom. I found a worship song playlist on CZcams and I laid across the bed and closed my eyes and quietly listened to favorite worship songs for over an hour. Some songs I hummed along with the song. After an hour I opened my eyes and was surprised how spiritually refreshed I felt. It was the same as if I had spent that 1 hour in Bible study. Lesson learned is quiet time with God can take many forms. Worship can also be small moments throughout the day. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. God bless!

I’m struggling as well, I have 3 children youngest is 21 months. The only time I have is in the evening after everyone has gone to bed which is usually around 9pm. I’m so tired in the evening and then in the morning I get up at 4:30 to start getting ready for work and kids school. I’m so exhausted all the time. I do feel guilty if my quiet time is not in a certain way. But you’re right our quiet time with the Lord doesn’t have to be strictly one way all the time
I am glad that your heart thirsts for the living water which is the word of God. When the soul is filled and rested in the presence of God it can not be satisfied with anything else. Because he has just experienced the perfect. I always wish you to ask for the kingdom of God first and everything else will be added to you. Like 25 years plus lol. My boys are 27 and 24 and they still interrupt my quiet time! 🤣And they live across town! 😂 Seriously girl, it is what you said, “life” and God doesn’t get upset how we do our quiet time and I myself needed to hear that. I’ve been putting the same rules on me. I’m hard on myself, I have to have my Bible and journal or I don’t have quiet time either so I can still relate! Great video and keep them coming baby girl! I want you to know how much I just love to hear you in videos growing in Jesus 🥰 my season in life is different my child is grown and no longer at home, but before that happened I became a caregiver for my mom who experienced a fall-> concussion -> TBI and permanent short term memory damage (similar to Dory from Nemo) … during this I also became caregiver to my grandmother TOO … now I recognize I’m in this season of LOSS / CHANGES as my grandmother passed away 8-28-2021 then my only sibling (little brother) passed away suddenly and super unexpectedly 6 weeks later of a heart attack… Why tell you these things? Because I can testify that the Lord helped me greatly in all these things, every moment and now as mom and I are now checking dementia because her memory worsened, I am still not alone because of Jesus… All the Bible studies, all the times with God in prior seasons where I did ok or failed completely are what God is using now to strengthen me in SERVING HIM in whatever I must do daily… I WISH I realized that as a younger single mom so hard on myself, I’m so glad 🥰 you are hanging onto Jesus in your struggles, I pray He sends you many hugs 🤗 and encouragements every moment you need them… regardless of what we are actually doing, we are all becoming more and more like Him every day 😇 through every season… (Loss is really change isn’t it because it’s just a temporary separation… I’m newly surrendering my viewpoint and perspective to Him because I’m seeing how it affects my mood and day by judging it good bad etc and it’s helping me to not resist my current training in “patient endurance”) I’m working also on building up life during this strange time of flexibility yet chaotic schedule Since friends are hard to connect with books and CZcams and church online are my community Your testimony and video journaling are what my mother and I are enjoying and receiving blessing from, thank you for sharing your Journey with Jesus!
