The Game is made by a small studio and it shows. at the en there is this ,,battle" scene. And by battle i mean shoot monster , dodge , repeat for 50 years till it dies.

I beat the game. It's actually good. Some parts are a bit annoying, but it's definitely good overall.
Scary Game Squad on Jesse Cox's channel also do a playthrough which was fun to watch!
i personally think it was really bad. all of it’s horror is just cheap jumpscares as apposed to atmosphere and the story is convoluted in a bad way. the main twist was predictable as all hell and the other twist made absolutely no sense whatsoever. plus there are some really weird, littler things that are really offbeat, like the main character having some weird tracking sci-fi scanner thing during the cold war
Okay but I’m absolutely fascinated by this “Walking” game and would love you to continue playing it for an entire episode atleast!

I feel sorry for anyone new to PC gaming who doesn't really play with the graphical settings beyond turning textures down because motion blur and depth of field and a lot of the "cinematic" crap that's enabled by default is literally painful to look at lmfao
For some reason these low budget, no effort games are more entertaining than a full on big company game.

Because they're usually more of the same thing we've been seeing for years. Lots of pretty looking graphics, but shallow gameplay to go along with it that is LUCKY to have a reiteration of some old mechanics we've all seen. After a while they all start to look the same, ironically.

imagine this - you move into a house. It's quiet, quaint, out of the way.
You are getting your bed ready for the night as you want to sleep comfortably. Suddenly you hear a bang, a metalic clang from above. You don't give it much mind, probably an animal. Bird maybe, or, God forbid, a rat.
The noises do not stop, you become sensetive to every sound to the point where you know you won't be able to sleep. You decide to go into the attic to shoo the animal away.
As you pull the attic stairs down you hear scittering, the animal must be scared. Then the smell hits you, you can't quite put your finger on what it is. You start climbing, peeking through the entrance as you reach a certain height. It's become too dark to see. You fully climb in and search for a light string and pull it once it's firmly in your grasp.
Once the room is illuminated you take a look around, nithing in particular catches your attention, just some abandoned furniture, nothing you wouldn't expect.
Then a speck of orange passes, you turn towards it, there is nothing there. You look further into the attic, as you're making your way you kick something, something that makes a slight clangy noise as it rolls away, a can. It brings your eyes towards dozens, more cans, all open and scattered across the wooden floor. The smell is strong in this area, you recognise it. All these cans were once filled with beans, however there is not trace of a single bean left. Only some remenents of the sauce.
Then, you hear the metallic clang that has become all too familiar right behind you. Turning around slowly you look to the floor as another empty can rolls towards you, bringing your gaze up you see a boy with hunger hair and a crazed smile. "W-what's your name" you ask unable to move from the boys gaze. The boy simply turns his head towards a wall, you follow his gaze to a wall, scratched into it is the phrase 'Ron

Unity is just popular for making games that's all. There are a few very good ones. Kerbal Space Program, Subnautica, Cuphead and cities skylines by way of examples.
