In the latest Half-Life anniversary update Valve finally introduced the long awaited new features for the HECU including feigning death, immortality and invisibility!
Its caused by a scripted_sequence playing after an NPC (Monster) has "died". I say "died" because NPCs in Half-Life don't actually die, they just idle animation into a death pose which is why their bodies can still be gibbed and carry out scripted_sequences. This specific part of Uplink is the only time that Valve made the mistake of having the player be able to kill an NPC before a scripted_sequence triggers.
Exactly what I thought. It was just hysterical to see this "resurrection" bug for the first time, all the more so being (still) a part of the the new, updated version proudly claiming to include "game updates, bug fixes and new content". 🤭
in the room after you walk by the turret you can control in the rail section if you dont look at the guy in the small room right of the table he doesnt attack you
