I need to add, Imran Khan only used the legal option which is allowed and spent the money on the road of his area where he lives. He could have utilized only for his personal gain. Secondly, this is not first time happened. The nawaz sharif, zardari etc., bought several gifts on 15% rate. IK on 50 %. All the remaining people at least got gold and diamond Rolax watches as a gift. These gifts are for govt. of Pakistan. Whereas, if govt official want to take it home. They have to pay deductible and take it. This is as per law.

During tour to other country whatever gift leaders get, it is the property of government but after paying 15%(according to old rule) you can buy those gift but when Imran khan became prime minister he changed that rule and asked to pay 50% of actual price. He bought a gift set of watch and other accessories made of diamonds after paying 50% of actual price.
Then later he sold that watch and all the money spent on social works. It’s the only leader of Pakistan who openly challenges to prove any corruption against him. When opposition didn’t find any they had only this thing to use against him.

Ghardi watch ka ap ny pochha, there is law prime Minister can buy a gift given by other countries so after paying 20% of actual price of the gift, he bought a watch of gift and sold out of 14 crore and build a road near his house. This is not a corruption.
He paid 50% of actual price actually. And the former ones have paid 15% to 20% he actually paid more and then the money he'd gotten had built a road. So, extremely pathetic to see such lame charges by opposition charges. They've thought the public as fools but we're not anymore.

Sadly in a Pakistani society, lying is such an integral part of the culture, politics and business. Before Imran Khan came into power, others took the gifts from Tosha-Khana (where gifts are collected and estimated) at certain percentage of the actual value of the gift. I think, it was 15-30 percentage. Imran Khan increased it to 50% & then bought it. He did Pakistani government a favour by increasing the value. People in power use allegations but never showed any evidence against him. They capitalise on the simplicity of the common people and think that this is 60s, where no internet or other sources of information exist.
