The pope, the supreme patriarch to which you agree based upon the prior ecumenical councils (look up formula of hormisdas), added it to the creed. All your Latin saints agree with the Filioque, including the great church father Saint Augustine. Many of the early church fathers in the east also do :)

After all, only through preserving absolute pureness we can really hear God's voice, and this is essential for priests in particular, since they celebrate Sacraments and must also lead the people of God. If they have fisical relationships with a wife, how can they be the shepherds the people needs in order to guide us in this world lead by the evil?

The Catholic Church created the Nicene Creed, hence it has every right to make amendments to it. Also, if you deny the Filioque, you take away Christ’s divinity. There is only one Church; the Holy Catholic Church.
