Damn almost 200mph, that fly by also was crazy and put it into perspective. I've had a car do a fly by past me at around 160 on the freeway here in the US, and it shook my whole car.

The radiators keep blowing so long to cool the intercooler water. Same on my RS7. Water has very high specific heat capacity so if you've been belting it around it takes longer to cool back down to ambient. Engine coolant only needs to be cooler than thermostat level, not ambient, so they shut off earlier.
Contrary to popular belief, an Air-to-Water IC improves most not with core size (unless compromised design), but with water capacity. Other factors will help but not as much as adding more litres to the system, at least for the street. The water acts as a heat capacitor.
