- Finally after a long wait I'm releasing my Mario Kart Wii Custom Track Distribution [Mario Kart 64 Remade]. Please before using it consider reading the README.txt that is included with the download.
for WBFS users, the game will only boot if the language is set to english.
If you find any issues with this modpack PLEASE write it down below on the comments or talk to me in discord [diegovapy].
Changelog since the last update:
Restored ALL of the Mario Kart 64 Soundtrack (+16 Soundtracks from other games for the retro cup tracks)
Remade item icons
Remade item models (Thanks Josei)
Updated item roulette animation
Remade HUD Sprites from scratch (Special thanks to Funtendo18 for helping me doing some of the sprites)
Added online Wiimmfi support [Region 625]
Remade cup preview videos
Fixed and improved riivolution xml files
Added Mario Kart Wii Deluxe My stuff support as well as CTGP My Stuff Support
Added custom speedometer font
Updated Staff Roll
Rebalanced item probabilities
Updated title screen images
Improved Standard Kart Model (Thanks Josei)
Added a Daisy retexture that resembles it's 64 era look
Updated and replaced most of the custom tracks

- Koopa troopa beach [Replaced with ZPL version]
- Kalimari Desert [Replaced with Sniki version]
- Toad's Turnpike [Updated]
- Frappe Snowland [Replaced with Altair Yoshi version]
- Choco Choco Mountain [Replaced with TacoJosh version]
- Mario Raceway [Replaced with MysterE99 version]
- Wario Stadium [Replaced with Paratroopa3 version]
- Royal Raceway [Replaced with Paratroopa3 version]
- Yoshi Valley [Replaced with ZPL version v1.4]
- Banshee Boardwalk [Replaced with ZPL version]
- All retro cup tracks were replaced to be more related to the 64 era.
Special thanks to the creators of these amazing tracks also including Tailscraft, Bear, Waltz, Hollend, Squadaloo, Billy and Mewtwo2000.

sinceramente me a encantado este mod, se nota que los creadores se han esforzado bastante, opino que es un mod muy bonito y me encanta la forma en la que le rinde homenaje a mario kart 64, tiene las animaciones de cuando te golpean con el caparazon, la musica de las pistas sin errores, las voces del mario kart 64 original, e incluso la inclusion de kamek como easter egg por los cortos de mario kart 64 y al final no se termino por incluir...la verdad es que esta es una adaptacion maestra del mario kart 64 al mario kart wii, espero que este proyecto llegue a mas personas y se le siga dando apoyo, gracias por tu esfuerso Diego vapy :)

@@diegovapy Please tell me if all tracks in MK64 Remade works in Multiplayer Split screen. I Want to play your pack with 2 players. I'm asking this because i had issues with other Custom Track Packs distributions that had some Tracks that lagged horrible in Multiplayer.

Found this completely by chance. Played it today and had some of the most fun I've have with Mario Kart in years!
I saw you've been working on this for awhile, and have no idea if you have anything more planned. This was incredible!! Job well done! Also, the random Grunty Laugh when I finished poorly as Banjo brought such a sweet smile to my face!

It was a blast! I wound up getting a bullet bill in 1st place 5-6 times which cracked me up (this was on VS Race with Aggressive items mind you).
The only real quirk I could find was the 'checkpoints' if you will. I actually wound up losing a race as Kamek got spawn on the finish line on the final lap, but it made for a hilarious moment XD
@@heroic_teddy yeah, the bullet bill was just a fun thing i added, it's a probability of 1/200 lmao so yeah, also about the tracks i don't think i have permission to edit them, as they've been made by other creators as well. i'll be making a discord server so people can share and give feedback about my projects as well, i like to improve them
Does your pack work well with Multiplayer Split Screen? (2 Players). I played some MKWii Custom Track Packs before, and sadly, some Custom Tracks lags horrible in 2 Players mode.

@@diegovapy muito bom. Eu achei. Fez mto juz ao que era o Yoshi's Valley. A grqmw bem bonita, os caminhos, o efeito do ovo. E do jogo em geral, achei muito legal ter usado o modelo mulipoligonal da caixa de ítens e também achei que a caixa seletora funcionando bem mesmo piscando em branco.
Is og a reduction for "original", don't get me wrong, but original or not, seems good enough for a remake, possible changes affected the game experience for good.

Changing some of the characters that were not present in the mario kart 64 (like waluigi or baby mario, etc) and using their n64 voice clips (from sports or party titles) would be a cool change. Also great mod

i tried but that made the game very buggy sp it was scrapped, selecting karts only on vs options may help

Outstanding mod, but here’s a question I have. On Wii it takes a while for each track to load to start the race. Is that to be expected?
yep, it depends on the speed of the drive where you have the mod installed
How do you use CTGP and MKWDX for this on dolphin? I'm very confused
that is for console users, but if you have mkwdx riivolution working in the same directory and have mods in your my stuff then you could use them too

I tested your mod today and it seems to have a drift error. I can't use drift to the right. only to the left. I tested with the GC control and Wii remote. would there be a way to solve it?
hmm that error again, it only happens in certain consoles, have you tried re installing it?
The method I use is to paste it directly into the wbfs folder at the root of the SD card. I will delete and paste again

I managed to solve the problem! I only had to delete the save data from the Wii because there was already a previous save from another Mario kart recorded and they share the same file. Thank you from Brazil

@@diegovapy Thanks, it worked for me, it's because in Dolphin I play in Spanish because my country speaks Spanish and I'm using the translator because if not you don't understand me :P

nope, it doesnt require ctgp revolution, it can be played in riivolution, or usb loader with the wbfs version in my discord server

si estas usando el wbfs tienes que poner el idioma de la consola en ingles, eso se encuentra en las opciones de dolphin, en la pestaña que dice Wii y cambias el idioma ahi
