- Jordan 11s are a sneaker staple! Although these sneakers haven't been released for all that long; these Cherry 11s were in need of a cleaning... Or three!
In today's Shoe Care Academy episode we brought Megell from behind the camera to be right in front of, cleaning one of his favorite Jordan Silhouettes. Saying that these were drug through the mud might be the biggest understatement.
After a deep clean and 2 trips through the washing machine these new sneakers were for sure brought back to life!

Question does the stain and water repellent work for 11s I heard it messes up the paten leather
You can on the mesh part, but I don't recommend it on the patent leather
Im watching this video because i have a pair of legend blue hi tops ..i take great care of all my shoes ... But that clean job turned dirty shoes to brand new shoes & laces. ... I"ll definitely be ordering this product.... Lol 😅

How would you go about getting light scuffs out of the patent leather? Ive tried wax and it doesnt seem to help
You can try our Mink oil. If that does not work, you may want to repaint the scuffed part of the shoes.

if i don’t have the laundry pod am i fine to throw them in the washer with regular detergent?
You would need to use detergent without dye in it, because the dye can damage your shoes

If I’m not mistaken I don’t these those can be removed unfortunately
You can stuff the toebox, but it really can't be fully removed.
Personally, im waiting on the Legend Blue AKA Columbia, 11s, with the high cut patent leather, hopefully 2024?

You could polish it using a Shoe polisher
They also have mink oil you can use with a handheld buffer that will help it a lot also back in my shoe cleaning days I use to use windex that was the secret back than hope this helps

I know this vid is about cleaning but these shoes were just dirty and not damaged. You could tell from the beginning.
