Really good video. Used to be 2300 elo in csgo (nothing big), and has been struggling so hard in cs2 since realease. Have used this as warmup/training few days and i FINALLY see some improvements and actually starts hitting my shots again. Thanks
Tracking heads is the best skill you can learn for being good at CS. Flick shots are great but there's a high margin of error with flick shots and should be used in only very limited circumstances.
Man thank you, i got to level 10 without knowing how important the tracking was, and now after practicing a tiny bit of tracking before matches my aim has improved like by 50% it's crazy, now I feel i can climb up elo a lot easier. Nice video.
ive got to say i taught myself to aim like this and it works pretty fine. Thinks I would like to note. Movement is key to do good strafes but also doing bhop makes u more comfortable with strafing. Another thing, you haven't mentioned is doing double taps as soon as possible to start seeing your aim weaknesses. It's true cs2 is all about horizontal movement but many people miss the fact that vertical movement is important. And also something very rare to train is killing the first enemy with a spray and then stop spraying and kill the other enemy with one tap. Very useful since it teaches you the timing with the ak 47 for example and many people only aims down and loses the headshot. Last but not least, I see him very unconfident with his aim and until the end of the video, he is getting more snappy. I would say he needs to do a quick hands warm up. In conclusion, the best way to train your aim is to do the hardest challenge and also put urr crosshair in very awkward positions in order to feel more confident.

What would you recommand? Training more what you showed in the video or do I HAVE TO set my sens lower no matter what? Btw. Thank you a lot for your great content, you are helping me a lot to improve!
I think you should just learn to play with a lower eDPI. I know movement feels hard at first but it's mostly because you are trying to do it with the same physical movements and that is just not possible on lower edpi. You need to pick up your mouse and use your elbow a lot. If you don't have a good & lightweight mouse, good pad, and most of all, the right height table/chair it's not so fun to use low sens, but after you fix these it becomes second nature.
@@kennaeeI could go lower eDPI, my mousepad is large enough, but my mouse is pretty heavy, specially the backside of my mouse and that makes it pretty annoying to lift up my mouse. Also I used to move my mouse with my wrist more than with my elbow, idk how bad this habbit is. I already have a big mouse but still I get sometimes with my fingers or wrist on my mousepad and that blocks me to aim with my mouse. s1mple plays at 1236, stewie2k at 1760. i also play at 1280 and that’s what’s most comfortable to me, you shouldnt be locked to an edpi around 800. play whatever is comfortable for you, everyone has a different playstyle. wouldnt hurt to try lowering though. usually im entry fragging and prefer the higher dpi to check my corners while my team is flashing me in.
I also agree that one tapping is useless, but when you're warmupping you can practise counter strafes with one taps to feel your game character's moves ;D. What do you think?
Is it possible to be competetive in cs while having fps drops from 150 to 90 at times? For example when smokes and mollys +many shots are fired. I have 144 hz monitor
I can only speak for NA but I made it to lvl 10 with a laptop where I got similar frames only recently did I upgrade to a pc. Although I would advice you upgrade asap because you will exponentially improve with better specs
I'm playing 0.58 @ 800 dpi. I know its crazy low but everytime I try to turn it up (maybe 10%) my wrist starts to hurt. Dont know what to do because it hurts my movement but my playstyle becomed more calm and collected with lower sense. Also getting less caught of guard when someone is in an off angle. I'm 37 so my days of going pro is over ❤
imma be honest, if your wrist hurts, it means it's not used to aiming, youre exclusively playing with your arm it seems (obv with that low sens). that's bad, since our arms in their entirety, so fingertips, wrist and arm are very well designed to work together. you'll find that many top aimers use all of those parts of the arm somehow. ofc it comes down to preference, but if you wanna devote your time to practice and get better, i would advise you to go into training and change your sens to high, low medium etc. find what works for you, try sacrificing more time for training with a high sens, which foces you to adjust with your wrist so that you get used to it. contrary to popular belief, playing with one sens isn't that great for improvement, frequently changing your sens and training will cause you to get better at ALL sensitivities, including your own. after consistent practice you will be better and maybe after you incorporate your wrist and fingers more, you'll be a very good aimer with a higher sens, using both your arm and your wrist to adjust. you can even try custom acceleration, so that your faster flicks get your crosshair further, but that's a lot of tweaking and, again, practice. in summary, with the right settings for you and a lot of practice, you can basically train yourself into being both a fast aimer and an accurate one, elevating your playstyle
i have to clarify, i meant go into training and change your sens to liw medium high frequently, but find a range and train a certain amount of time with multiple different sensitivities. different parts of your arm will start to be trained and you'll rely more on your hand-eye coordination than on mindlessly autopiloting on your usual sens. muscle memory when aiming is a myth and it's scientifically proven to be based on hand-eye coordination. muscle memory only takes care of the particular muscle that has to be used, it does not translate into aiming onto stimuli from your screen
@@kane_grocerys Thanks for your comment and I believe you are right, in a way. Out of curiosity I just realised I had some old fragmovies from 1.6 and just watched them, I can see that I'm using low sense from clips that was made around 15-20 years ago. Probably lower than I have today 😂 I have been experimenting with going higher the last couple of years and I do play better at deathmatch at higher sense (I hit a record of 95 kills in 10 minutes of deathmatch just the other week) but then going into a game taking normal duels feels awkard and I cant win the same duels that I'm used to with lower sense. But yeah my hand tense up when I play at higher sense (going above 0.63 on 800 dpi) and I now have inflamation in the nerves around the elbow now that makes playing at higher sense probably will never work for me. I also think the g pro superlight that I have been using the last 2 years is to small for me so got myself an ergo mouse hoping I can get a relaxed grip. I'm playing at 20k+ elo, got +1.2 k/d and 3+ rating on letify at avarage. I guess I should be happy with that as an old fart that became a dad 2 years ago 😂. But I will still wanna try to improve and I know going up in sensitivity is the way for me. I will get my new mouse soon (just ordered a lamzu - thorn) and hope I get a better grip with that one.
Yeah I think I'm just gonna stay down here. Its a hack forcing you to clear off angles more often, its harder to just rush randomly so you take it more slowly and it makes your aim look as stable as a pro even though your hand might be shaking 😂
Btw, I have learned that tracking is actually easier with a higher sensitivity while static is going to be easier on lower. Thats because its easier to react to moving targets on high. But I guess thats mainly for pure tracking and this map is dynamic clicking so lower would still be king. Hm.
from the professional aim training community, tracking IS easier with a higher sensitivity. but you also have to learn smooth mouse movement. that being said, tracking slow moving targets without much travel distance is probably still easier on a lower sensitivity.
That's only true for relatively large objects that move unpredictably in a game like quake or apex, you have to have a slow sens compared to other games to track the very small heads without jumping on and off a lot
I believe the reason his aim was shaky and bad for tracking was his mouse grip as it was really awkward and probably should be a palm grip because he was pretty low sens.
That’s good I will try these drills and see if they work for me. Also what is your opinion on aim trainers like aim labs and if there better or worse than workshop maps.?
@@pienixcs I usually just do aim trainers but I tried the drills in this video and only after using it once I feel myself being more comfortable on my new sens and being way more consistent when hitting shots especialy heads I also found out my weaknesses that I need to work on thanks for this.

Bro anyone tell me how can I play this maps to bots ? Workshop work no more I’m cs2
It does, you gotta find the section - the map's names are
CSSTATS, FAST AIM/REFLEX
Btw, I have learned that tracking is actually easier with a higher sensitivity while static is going to be easier on lower. Thats because its easier to react to moving targets on high. But I guess thats mainly for pure tracking and this map is dynamic clicking so lower would still be king. Hm.
im pretty sure youve got it backwards
I'm on something like 680edpi and tracking is honestly fine so long as they are not 2 feet away running and jumping with an SMG xD
from the professional aim training community, tracking IS easier with a higher sensitivity. but you also have to learn smooth mouse movement. that being said, tracking slow moving targets without much travel distance is probably still easier on a lower sensitivity.
That's only true for relatively large objects that move unpredictably in a game like quake or apex, you have to have a slow sens compared to other games to track the very small heads without jumping on and off a lot
Lower is king but not to the point that you can't turn around
Whats the first map?
Csstats
My problem is always shooting before aiming, it becomes a bad habit
Replace it with new habit

Thanks but changed it now, don't have the code
what workshop maps are these?
CSSTATS and fast aim/reflex
I believe the reason his aim was shaky and bad for tracking was his mouse grip as it was really awkward and probably should be a palm grip because he was pretty low sens.
Might have been, we work on the grip too just not in the vid✌️
That’s good I will try these drills and see if they work for me. Also what is your opinion on aim trainers like aim labs and if there better or worse than workshop maps.?
@@zigel9705 aim trainers are for moving your mouse - if you feel that's what you're uncomfortable with go for it
@@pienixcs I usually just do aim trainers but I tried the drills in this video and only after using it once I feel myself being more comfortable on my new sens and being way more consistent when hitting shots especialy heads I also found out my weaknesses that I need to work on thanks for this.
