Great to see that Alex has become such an integral part of the team. Poor Sam, losing Blaine, is kind of lost in where he belongs. He will find a spot. Great team with all 3 of them working together! Liking that wall, too!

I got no need for a block wall today... but i do love watching all the various jobs yall do. Have been repairing my 40year old shed to get a few more years out of it. Every time i think it's time to tear down, well, maybe just a few more repairs!!! Thanks for the inspiration to just GITTER DONE!!!
It's always interesting to see newer products being used in projects. We feel like it's we are very much part of the build in ways of watching. Great content Stan good team work hand and hand 👍🏻
I really like it when you show the construction of the job you are doing instead of just taking to us about different things that mean nothing to me unless I am a contractor which I am not I just like to see how the job is done also you’re videos would not be so short
Can you do like how much that would cost with the other stone vs this stone? Be interesting to see the cost comparison with the empty core vs the full block like this. Great work!
Stan they are cool blocks I know once finished they can be faux stained to look like real stone even more I have seen jersey road barriers once stained look like a natural stone wall
Nice product for this application, but these aren't ideal when you need to go taller since they still need reinforcement over a certain height. As a designer, I hate them. Always sucks trying to figure out how to use up the pallet quantities properly and their layout software doesn't really work very well for anything other than very simple wall geometry. I like Redi-Rock Ledgestone texture. Just enough variation to disguise the fact that it is a rectangular block, but easier to layout/place and can go much taller without grid. Solid block and friction knobs make them easy and fast to stack.
Hi Stan! Amazing wall! Love the look! I know we've been over stand on mowers for slopes, but I think it's finally time. I'm thinking Wright zk. Unfortunately the dual wheel one is simply to big for what we need. Your opinion?
Definitely agree with you on the aesthetics on "normal" block walls. However, I'd still want larger format ones. Wonder if there are semi-hollow larger ones that are more organic looking.
Stan,,, On a lot of your other videos you emphasize not using fabric behind your walls. I see fabric going behihd this wall. Is it due to the fact of larger spaces and gaps in this type of stone and youre also using a drain tile to help remove the water from behind the fabric? But for most other circumstances do not use fabric? Thanks,, Great videos !
I hope you don't have color fading problems like i did with the 25 steps I installed from Rosetta it only took 3 weeks and 2 rain storms and the yellow color was gone !!!!!
@@Dirtmonkey My municipality in the centre of the universe(tm) (Toronto) is requiring that 30% of all paved surfaces be permeable. Thats why I ask :). Thanks for your opinion!

Y'all have never used those dinosaur blocks/stones before 😳 ohh 🤣 you are using fake ones 😆 we just did a 60ft wall recently with the Real ones and had some that were just over the lift capacity of our Kubota kx40, we managed to make it work and sh!t got sketchy at times 😆
Nah, you'd use geogrid between the courses. You can go just about as tall as the foundation can handle then. Blocks like ReCon and Redi-Rock can go taller than these without reinforcement.
Communication, planning, large concrete Legos jammed in a tight space, all made for a super entertaining video! Thanks Stanley.
Hahah yeehaw 🤠
Glad no animals got hurt in making of this video. Thank you Sam for looking after them. All animal lives matter😅.
Animals > most people

@@seansmith3747 Blaine retired.

The employee running the shovel moved as much dirt as the excavator.. Probably similar amount of time also.. good job, shovel guy. You win this video
Lol shovel guy 🙌
Nothing better than the sound of some "worn in" excavator pins... oldie but goodie as we say
I've never seen a wall built with these blocks. I like it though!
Pretty cool 👌
Thanks Sam for watching after the Wild Life there Brother! Your a Good Man
He really is 🤜

A good team is everything 🙌
This is a cool one Stan. Versa is upping their game.. More labor involved but maybe saving on block? Certainly a game changer for sure
Can’t argue there 👌
Not a Versa Lok product. The local Versa producer just also makes these (they buy the forms). Rosetta is an Aster brand (same as Redi-Rock).
Nice Job , like to see the End of the JOB.

Wow beautiful wall
Nice work brothers.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
We all appreciate it!
Steel toe crocs! love it i need a pair
😎

Cool idea 👍
Just cause theirs work to do doesn't mean we can't respect the critters! I thank you sir. On behalf of the frogs, toads, snakes, and mouse.
I’ve always had a special place in my heart for critters, only makes sense that the team does too 😊👍
Love this one.
Love to hear it 👊
I am happy with most of the Ready Rock walls.
I really like those blocks
👍👍👍
Get one of them big rocks will SMASH his crock work shoes Stan 😮 you could use them lifting handles to use for anchors maybe huh. Looks good 👍👊
Love the videos
Thanks brotha
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
Thanks Tony 👊
We use a lot of Rosetta brand blocks. They have a some very some products, love them!
very cool system
thanx excellent video as always
Thanks man! Appreciate it
Stanley, why can't you lay the stones by hand? You are strong. You can do it. I have faith in you.
Go ahead lol
I have never seen steel toe crocks before... Even if one is just visiting a job site one should always be wearing PPE
Coolest rock I've ever seen.
😎👌

Wright makes a great machine 👍
That the house you cut the grass for free from a pass vidéo good job
No not the same house
This is the kind of block. I really want to learn how to use because there’s so much money in it.
👍👍👍

My supplier has these Rosetta block. They are huge. Oberfields in Ohio and Mansfeld brick and supply sells them.
I like those blocks. I wonder if they come in darker forest colors?
Not sure, that’d be cool too
Id imagine you could use a concrete stain/sealer to get a custom look.
Looks like a few rows have seams lining up
Would like to see the final product on that one

This being a new retaining wall system, did you quote a firm price or an estimate?
Wanna see the back filling and finished product
Walls seem smooth where they stack on each other. Should they be pinned like the small square blocks?
Under each block on the back side there is a shear knob that interlocks with the block below it
Give me RediRock any day. Rosetta is nice but not quite as easy to set. Rosetta requires way to much geo fabric for anything but a low wall.
Can’t argue there 👌
I thought your RT-75 was replaced with the VT-75? Did you swap back to the RT? If so, can you tell us why?
This was before we swapped them
What! Where is the final project? Is there a part 2?
I hope you don't have color fading problems like i did with the 25 steps I installed from Rosetta it only took 3 weeks and 2 rain storms and the yellow color was gone !!!!!
Oh crap- these are holding up good. Sorry to hear you had issues
Anyone else wondering why he bought a new mini ex and they still aren’t using it?
I use it a lot. BUT I bought it for myself- not the crew. Its my personal machine The crews run our bobcat exc's.
Wouldn’t the cast loader bucket fit between the house and deck support? Or a dingo/ mt bobcat? At least to remove the excavated soil?
possibly but the cast was 100 miles away
@@Dirtmonkey I thought you just got a new one for the crew cause yours was up at Shang ri la?
Stan, do you do any of those wild stone systems that are permeable? as a paving solution? or are they stupid?
I’ve done em, they work

sometimes we have to park the wrong way to load or unload the truck
Crocs on a job site 😂

It looks like those loops on the back could be connected to ground screws. Looks like they could be used for a super tall wall.
Nah, you'd use geogrid between the courses. You can go just about as tall as the foundation can handle then.

we can build as high as we want with geogrid
