- Jess and I both experienced lots of heat related illness while transforming this overgrown yard. We were driving to get some food when we spotted this overgrown YARD so I got out and checked it OUT, then decided to cut it. Around half way through I began to feel very sick and started having some numbness/tingling in my left arm. I spoke to Jess and we decided to finish but without our normal eye for details. Thanks for watching and supporting this work we do.

Great job 🎉🎉🎉. Your body will always remember you when to rest.
So sorry you and Jess suffered heat exhaustion. The work you did makes the property look beautiful. Hope you both feel better soon.
YALL DID A GREAT JOB!!! STAY HYDRATED IN THIS HEAT...
You did a beautiful job! Please be careful! 🤗❤👍
Take care of yourselves! Feel better!
So glad you’re feeling better good job 👍🏽❤️❤️👍🏽
Oh, you’ve done an awesome job. It came out really nice. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work. 👍🇺🇸🙏🏼
Heat exhaustion is no joke, gotta be careful with that. Im in Florida and I work outside 11-12 hours 5-6 days a week, so I take many precautions.
Thanks for the good work you do in your city
Lovely transformation hope you both recover soon take care
As Dirty Harry said, "A good man's gotta know his limitations." We must know when our bodies and equipment need consideration. My father took me out on my first mowing jobs when I was a kid.
He taught me not to push my mower to it's limits. He told me if you treat your equipment with respect, it will give you years of good service. That has proven to be true. Our bodies are no different; listen to yours. There's always another day if you do. Thanks for doing such a fine job. Love to see the results.
keep up the good work that you do. always remember to take breaks and check on each other. it's not a race to get it done, your health is the number one thing to watch out for, good day.
Brilliant transformation viewing from the U.K.
Great cleanup job, be safe
Stay hydrated.... regardless of how tough you think you are.
You did a wonderful job. Front looks incredible. Sorry you and Jess got so hot..you worked hard. Don’t blame you for not doing back yard. Not necessary. Taking care of yourselves is more important. Good video.
Looks really nice. Fresh mowed, nicely edged yard, tree trim. Garbage picked up. 👍👍
Lots of edging to do. You did a great job. Make sure you stay hydrated…..always. Your health is the most important thing you have…..hugs. If people want you to cut the lawn, the should not expect you to haul their junk so you can cut their grass. You did a great job of cutting the grass.
Hello sweethearts 💕

Left near there home's... 🤷♀️🤦

You 2 did a tremendous job as always .hope you are feeling better. God bless you both for being so kind .
Please be careful in this heat, it is no joke. Great job, relax in the cool stay hydrated.
Looks just fine guys! 👍
Heat exhaustion is serious business. You work so hard so you must make sure you bring rehydration drinks with you all the time.
We bring drinks I just forget to take breaks 😢
to combat exhaustion, keep healthy snacks in your car. ie: trail mix and protein bars. also a case of water. been there and done what you are doing.
Looks great. I live in the south too and this heat is dangerous.
Great job be safe❤
Y'all did a great job that heat is something you don't mess with I enjoy your videos
Job well done. Take care in this heat. Awesome transformation.❤
You did a brilliant job. I love the way you edge the grass. It looks great. ❤❤
Great job on this project 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 lots of hard work with those edges too!!! Stay hydrated and stop when you need to, we can wait for the part two 👍🏻
Great job you guys but stay hydrated!
I pray you guys are feeling better 🙏
Awesome job done. Hope you guys feel better 🙏
Heat exhaustion and heat stroke can quickly sneak up on you in no time. By the time you start feeling sick, you are there... I know from personal experiences. Don't take it lightly. It can get serious in very little time... Thumbs Up!
Once my arm started tingling I got pretty nervous
Great job 👍👍👍
👍 Great job
Great job. Friendly tip: lightweight large brimmed hats with strings. Constant water breaks. You are two very hard workers. Take care
Great transformation
DEFINITELY KEEP HYDRATING,, WAYYYY to Hot 🥵🥵🔥🔥 out there on these JOBS right now, #1 thing to do, almost had one of those HEAT strokes, it was not fun at ALL, PLEASE be safe out there 🙏❤️, but you 2 are doing a GREAT JOB 🚜🚜🚜🚜👍💪😎
I live in Houston, TX but I was born in Tulsa. Very familiar with how hot it is outside..I do my yardwork in the very late hours of the night into early morning. Even then I have to do it in small sections, I guess due to my old age, and the humidity still gets me sweating.
Excellent!! BRAVO!!
Be very careful with this heat
Hope you guys feel better great
Transformation was. Good lots
Of. Hard work ❤❤
good job,
Great job you guys it looks so good now. That was a lot of edging. Stay safe its so hot out there.
I hope that you do the back yard. Take care of your selves and from a health care provider drink lots of water and don't let your selves overeat yardwork isn't worth it. You can't help others if you are sick or dead
Ya gotta take care of yourself! I appreciate the videos, but not at the expense of your health. I think a lot of us like seeing the edging because it gives such a finished professional look to the work. Again, thanks for the video.
Good job hope you both feel better.
Here in Puerto Rico, the temperature is too hot.
Can't work outside.
Hope both get well and
Take care.
It's a hot one today Be careful :)
Beautiful, however please takes breaks to cool off in your truck AC and hydrate often. The yards aren’t worth your health. Be blessed😊
You guys be careful. It reached 101° degrees where I am in South Louisiana. People are mowing very early in morning or late in the evening to beat the heat.🥵
We talked and we decided early or not at all.
Good 👍 job boys!
Just wanted to say good job enjoyed watching your videos
Very nice work
cool
Nice job.. but please take care of your health.. we won't mind if you have to come back to a yard what's important is that you and Jess are okay in the long run... you are not going to lose any of us please try and stay hydrated
Thank you 🙏
The yard looks great. Maybe you could look into those things that go around your neck that go in the freezer between uses. And pouring cold water over your head cools you down in a hurry. Also, I can't believe you're wearing long sleeves and long pants in this heat. Take special care with these ungodly temperatures. 😮
I wear long sleeves and shirts to protect my skin from the sun and debris from the trimmer, we actually bought some of those towels during this video
That is scary, take better care! As if you need a reminder after this.
You’re right. Thank you for your support
Take it from one who has had at least four heat strokes in the past and hopefully never again, that it’s not just being hydrated. Its your body temperature that needs to cool down. Listen to your body. When your body says stop even if you have just a little left to clean up, stop and take a break. Cool your body down with cold water, on your neck, wrists, and face. Take your shoes and socks off, cool your feet. I heard you had the ac on, good. Heat stroke is NO joke, listen to your body or you’ll find yourself flat on your face wondering what happened or in the hospital. Sometimes it can occur and it’s not hot outside, it’s about YOUR BODY THERMOSTAT telling you you’re doing too much. Take it easy. 😊
Not gonna say nothing but you know better becareful out there dont want you guys getting a heat stroke. Nice job
You didn't take enough of a break or not enough breaks.. Don't put yourself out of commission. The yard looked great.
Be careful and get in the shade for breaks. I snapped 2 of the main bones in my left foot working cable burial in 2000. I fainted from heat exhaustion...
Oh no . Has it been much of a problem since?
Where is this located? The grass is so green.
Just picking up all that trash was a huge improvement. The edging, weedeating, & mowing was the cherry on top. Good job. Sorry 2 hear the heat made u 2 sick. I usually start early in the a.m., when I work outside. I'll tune in again soon. Your Oregon Viewer.
We are located in Northeast Oklahoma
Tulsa
💚👍👍👍
Taking care of yourselves comes before a yard make over. Please be careful.
be careful. You are more important
Is that Sun Stroke? Great job, it looks wonderful.
ELECTROLYTES to replenish your body of salt, sodium, calcium, etc 😁 ON HOT DAYS OF SUMMER 🔥
Drink water and Gatorade if not take breaks.
man, start bring a cooler with you, filled with ice and bottled water and powerades,... be safe, take care,...
You guys did a great job! Make sure you guys stay hydrated and get plenty of water everyday, especially first thing in the morning. No worries bout the backyard, you guys did plenty enough. Thanks for sharing.🤙🏾💯
Hi🎉😊
Stay hydrated bro and take shaded breaks. Btw, i am moving to a house with 1/2 acre lot. What mower do you recommend. It is flat with 5 medium trees.
It would depend on a lot of factors honestly, what type of mower can you see yourself using ?
My need to be careful out there in that heat he can get you real quick and might need to pull that truck closer to where you work not walking so far keep it close to you so all the equipment will be closed say view steps
Did you two hydrate yourselves as you went along? You made me nervous. Does the city come out and remove the garbage if you call.
We were drinking lots of fluids , we just kept getting hot 🥵
That house seems empty maybe is abandoned
You know better... as a lawn care business to stay hydrated....silly you..... you should drink 16 Oz h20 every 3 hours while working out doors then in a 6 hour period add "1" Gatorade" for loss of electrolytes
What did the neighbor say to you that made you have to check on Jess? PS what you’re talking about at the end of your video is called heat exhaustion. You must take care of yourself specially, in the heat and the sun I know cause I passed out from it before and I woke up in the ambulance.
I’m not sure what they said, I just checked to make sure everything was ok . They were just thankful we were cutting the property
why dont you use a bagger attachment to mow the lawn
Don’t have a bagger for mower currently. I’m considering getting one but I’m not sure yet.
What city are you in??
Drink lots of liquids and eat snack once in a while
Hello best friend I hopes you gets wells ok thankyous please starts brings coldest chest with cold ice on inside the cold chest box ok please brings colds waters bottle's and soda's also or Gatorade vitamin water at the circle ⭕ k stores or at Walmart stores ok thankyous please brings alots of foods with you also ok so that you don't dehydrate that hot weather suttions ok thankyous my prayers goes too you sir ok thankyous 😊
Water s good but you re losing more than just water due to sweating. You re losing vital nutrients n minerals. You need to alternate small amouts of water with small amounts of Gatorade. Too much on ur tummy at once n u ll throw up. Just worried about you all okay. Please take my advice. I ve been thru heat exhaustion nearly to stroke. Thank goodness I realized my warning signs. These vary from person to person. I get irritable, really irritable then get mad n cry even. I feel nauseated n really foggy headed thinking. Can t focus. Body gets extremely fatigued n I tend to stumble. Headache too. Time to go! I get more fluids in me little bit at a time n get cooled quickly as possible whether in car with AC or at a business like a gas station or a fast food place. Cool watery icy rags are good to cool down quickly . Put on your hands, chest, face, but...Not on top your head!!! Too much temperature change directly on your heat/cold area ie, your head n feet, is a big no no! Please be safe. Love Keri
Drink more water. No caffeine drinks! Or sodas. Water and plenty of it! Hope you both feel better. And wear big straw hats to shade you.
Thank GOD for the mute button.
Thank you for your continued support.
You post that crap as click bait
I disagree. As you can see in the video I do walk out into traffic by mistake.
Drink those electrolytes!
