    I'm not a hunter, but I am a serious Backcountry hiker. I've been using your app and it's been invaluable for things like choosing campsites, finding streams and creeks and avoiding heavy brush or washed out areas. I think you should market to the hiking community as well. Your app is a massive improvement over the ridiculous hodgepodge of Google Earth and other map apps I was using. I literally found more sheds than I could carry. They were in a ravine that I would not have tried to enter if I hadn't had a good 3D rendering of a viable approach vector. My dogs had sheds strapped to their harnesses and their panniers were crammed full, really incredible find, including a single dropped tine elk rack literally too heavy to carry with all my other gear and for the distance we had to hike back to the truck. I don't know if you guys have a subreddit or something similar but I'll look and see if there's a place I can post pictures.

    The GOHUNT maps app is incredible. It was really good before but it's waaaaaay above anyone else's app. No comparison. Keep up the great work! (still waiting for that "saddle" icon lol)

    Oh good. Been waiting for this kind of video as I've yet to figure out how to do the fire or burn area overlay for California

      Thanks for checking it out! If you want, I could do another video to walk through the layers and turning them off and on. Or I could put you in touch with someone from the team and we can walk it over to you on the phone. Appreciate the support!

    GoHunt maps has a lot to offer, you should talk about those benefits instead of just trash talking other apps the whole time

    When you download maps for offline, does 3D work? Or does 3D only work when you have service?

    • @brady_j_miller
      @brady_j_miller Před rokem

      Hey Silas. Currently, 3D is only available when you have wifi or are connected to a cellular network. We are definitely looking at ways to make 3D even more powerful :)

    I can’t download areas bigger than 2 miles. What can I do to download huge areas like you guys say is possible?

    • @brady_j_miller
      @brady_j_miller Před rokem

      Hope all is well buddy! First, double check you’re on the latest version of GOHUNT Maps (on iOS it is version 2.3.5 and Android it is 2.3.5). Then when you’re downloading an offline satellite/topo map you’ll see at the top of the screen that if you’re zoomed out too far, then the icon at the top will say “Zoom in.” This is when I’ll slow down my zoom until it shows you a file size at the top. You’ll also notice at the bottom, the grey circle with a downward pointing arrow will turn orange once you’ve zoomed in enough for a download. I just downloaded another map on my phone right now, and I downloaded a single offline map with an area that is roughly 36 miles tall by 16 miles wide. Also, here is a walkthrough to help explain the process if needed: www.gohunt.com/content/insider/maps/new-download-flow-for-layers-and-offline-satellite-maps Let us know if you have any other questions, as your map will definitely download our high resolution offline maps way bigger than two miles. Hope you had a great weekend!

      @@brady_j_miller thanks man, I’m doing well. Unfortunately, I’ve tried everything you suggested and still the same for me. I actually now, just in the last couple days can not even download a 2 miles section like I could before.

      @@JosephTProductions what phone model are you using? Then what version update of the phone are you using? Like for an example, iPhone 12 Pro Max, on iOS version 16. And how much phone memory do you have left? If you're phone is completely full, it might not allow you to download maps because you don't have the required space. Just trying to cover any detail that might help the team figure this out for you.
