As a registered nurse I say that this new law on wearing a mask is stupid, stupid, stupid!
As a paramedic, so do I. I literally have to wear masks in public sometimes. It is part of all EMT training.

You will be exempt from this because of your profession. Other than a few professions only criminals wear masks.
He’s right. There will probably be a bunch lawsuits over this. The state will end up paying out a bunch and then having to amend the bill.

What they need to go after are those committing crimes wearing masks to hinder a positive identification.
I *+think+* that's been the stated purpose by some of the people trying to pass the the bill, but the law is ridiculously broad.
I say we use stereotypes.

Wait. Is a motorcycle helmet a mask? Because those cops that arrested that Walmart shopper had cough up like 50k from that law suit. Is it really legal to tell someone how to dress? Damn imagine a cosplay or renfair or comic con there, that would suck.
It probably won't be enforced for things like conventions.
