- להקת פיקוד המרכז בחידוש השיר "שומר החומות" לרגל יום ירושלים🇮🇱
השיר "שומר החומות" נכתב על ידי דן אלמגור, הולחן על ידי בני נגרי ובוצע על ידי להקת פיקוד המרכז בשנת 1977 במסגרת התוכנית "שירי ירושלים".
"עַל חוֹמוֹתַיִךְ, יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, הִפְקַדְתִּי שׁוֹמְרִים" - השיר עוסק במושא ההגנה של לוחמי וחיילי צה"ל שהיא בירת ישראל, ירושלים!
שיר המתאר את ירושלים של מעלה ואת ירושלים של מטה, את הריחות והקולות, את האנשים החיים בה ואת אלו שמגינים עליה.
ביום חגה של העיר ירושלים ובצילה של מלחמת חרבות ברזל, כולנו מלאי הערכה והוקרה לאלו המגינים על הבית בכלל גזרות הארץ ובירושלים בירת ישראל!
אני עומד על החומה
עומד בגשם לבדי וכל העיר העתיקה
מונחת לי על כף ידי, אני מביט בה מאוהב
אני עולה לכאן תמיד סתם להביט
אבל עכשיו אני נמצא כאן בתפקיד
