Barcelo Maya Palace is a family all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya. Barcelo Maya Palace is located in the Barcelo complex with four other family resorts. The Barcelo complex has mini golf, bowling alley, teen disco, adult disco, shops, flow rider, and a gorgeous spa with a special Kid Spa.
What sets the Barcelo Maya Palace apart are the large junior suites that fit a family of five, access to all the other resorts, an adults only pool, unlimited a la carte dinner reservations, and oceanfront dining.

The pools here are beyond compare. The tepanyaki (Tokyo grill) is a everything you have ever seen at a Benihana. Do tepanyaki once or twice in your life, but no more. The other restaurants are great. Peaceful and decent. It is amazing how this property has grown. I went there 20 years ago and loved it (before Maya palace and before the adults only). One of my absolute favorite vacation spots. I went to Cabo last year...I doubt I will ever be back (crowded pools and an ocean that you can't swim in). But this place is amazing. mini golf used to be free. They are charging for more things. I will try to get back here in the next few years. This place is far better than a cruise ship, IMO.

Thanks! It's so hard to show the kids' stuff because I don't want to put kids on the internet. On your next trip, you should make some videos to share and highlight your favorite pool bars and kids' activities. I'm sure people would love it.

Awesome Review!! We are headed there in a few weeks and are really looking forward to it. We are only there for a few days since it is a short trip. Is there anything in particular at the other resorts we should give a try? Do the restaurants have a dress code?

I personally like Hard Rock Riviera Maya better, but a good beach isn't important to me.
Would be nice if you could do close up of beach and ocean, many people concerned about Sargasso

We are possibly planning a large family trip there in september, my mom is elderly and I was concerned with her getting around. The place is so big and with the other resorts included, she would not be able to walk. Do they have shuttle service to take you around or golf cart service? If so, how accessible are they? Also, do you know the daily fee for the water park?
Your travel agent can review with you if the water park is included in your package. Golf carts take you from resort to resort. The resorts themselves are still pretty big. You may want to consider a more compact resorts like Dreams Natura czcams.com/video/v--gGLqCW3U/video.html

Not directly at the resort. You can book a snorkeling tour.

I don't recommend restaurants for people I don't know because I don't know what you like. Your travel agent can offer better recommendations. The mall is in the middle of the complex.
And can you please tell me what’s the difference between junior suite and ocean front premium ? We’re planning to go there in two weeks and the price is there a difference between the two and I’m trying to understand is it worth to pay more?

we re staying 5 nights at the palace. Do we receive 2 restaurant vouchers so we need to do the buffets the rest of the time?
Please check with the agent that booked your package. They will have the full terms of the package you purchased.
Palace has unlimited a la carte restaurants, you get one for each night.

I’m here at the resort right now! The French restaurant is absolutely amazing, by far our favorite. We’ve come to this resort twice now and we all love the French restaurant, I recommend the pistachio ravioli, it’s amazing. Also the Italian place in the mall, the pizzas and the pastas are fantastic, and since it is located in the mall you can do a bit of shopping before hand. The shuttle to the mall comes roughly about every 10 minutes at the lobby! But hands down you must try the French it’s fantastic and the interior is beautiful! Have fun on your trip!!!

Hello, i have a question and i wanted to verify. if you want to rent sea doos and maybe swimming with the dolphines. i assume these are a bit of a distance from the resort? you cant just rent a sea doo at the beachfront?
Dolphins are onsite. What's a sea doo?

Sounds like an awesome resort but for an all inclusive there seems to be quite a few things that r extra.
Most all inclusive only include meals, drink, and non-motorized sports. Some resorts at a higher price point do include a small water park.
If u go to the other resorts do u have to pay to eat there??
If you stay at the Palace, you have exchange privileges at the other resorts.

When was this video taken as it seems there was not many people especially at the beach. We hear getting loungers is not easy and also concerned about the lack of palapas for shade. Also, are the beds comfortable ?
This was filmed in November 2018 around 11 am. I've found the more Facebook groups post that finding chairs is hard, the more people hog chairs they aren't using so it becomes a problem. If people just used a chair when they wanted one and then moved on when they headed to lunch or into the pool, then this wouldn't be a problem.

@@gdessi1 Sure. (That's not a question to ask strangers on the Internet since you have no idea what their point of reference is. Maybe I love a super squishy bed so I'll tell you it's not too soft. Or maybe I usually sleep on the floor so I'll tell you that it's not too hard.)

Best video I have seen! Thank God! You made my feel better about my upcoming trip. I’m going in July and I wanted to know how are the clubs out there for adults 25 age group? Also hows the food? Are there enough vendors selling excursions? Are there any buses that take you to playa de Carmen at night time?
I can't comment on the club scene since I'm 40. :) Yes. You can book excursions on site. You can arrange transportation to Playa del Carmen.

@@bmassbandit4305 I don't know. Barcelo Riviera Maya was not finished during my visit.
@@bmassbandit4305 People that stay at Riviera Maya can visit any of the resorts but not vise versa. That said, you could check to see if they would give you a walk through to check out the resort.

Why does no one care abt the fact that wifi is not included... Like i have to go to a mall to get limited hour free wifi? if there is an emergency and i need to contact someone there's no option but to leave the hotel. I think thats kind of dumb
That's why it's really important to let your travel agent know that included Wifi is a deal breaker for you or to assess the price of Wifi as part of your package. The resort has phones in the rooms so you wouldn't have to leave the resort if there was an emergency.

@@ambermaem1 I got Mochaccino in the mornings from the buffet. You could get a to-go cup of coffee ☕️ there too. I was mostly consuming tequila sunrise, mai tai, mojito, mango-tango, mango margarita, and such. 😎
@@creative_vlad thank you! The last Cancun trip we took, we really enjoyed taking our coffee to the beach in the mornings to enjoy the calm quiet sunrise before we started our other drinking for the day. 😜
