bobby jarzombek is now george strait drummer. funny thing is that he is one of the sickest metal drummer on the planet. he has played with riot, fates warning, rob halford and many bands and projects. he was the first drummer to be offered the dream theater gig when portnoy was out of the band, but he declined. he is extremely talented and versatile.

George Strait, smooth, traditional singer/musician. He is truly an icon. No other male singer of any musical genre can match his talent. He is pure country. He has many songs, all of them beyond great. GS was also an accomplished team roping competitor with the PRCA as well as his son. All of his music is exceptional, but his late 80s and early to mid 90s are brilliant.

My daughter has a friend whose father wrote over 25 hits for George Straight. She was not bragging to me, she cared for her friendship and had no idea who George Straight was. That's as close as I ever came to writing music lol.

Nailed the song other than the saddle part. I think it was her saddle. Probably a gift from him because he was a rider. They would ride together etc. Now that she closed the door on the relationship for good she got rid of the saddle because of what it represented.
