I actually found out that he's not getting shot (in-game) it's just almost getting shot. And the screen just gets more and more red the closer the shots get until you finally get hit. Still true tho lol

@@goncalobaia1574 what I'm saying is that canonically none of the bullets "Hit" except for one which is the shot that kills you. And when you're on an easier difficulty you are just luckier thus more shots will "Miss", technically in game mechanics they hit for the reason of lowering luck, but in the world it's just close misses. Man this comment is way too long lol
the fact that they could tell that Solid and Liquid may be brothers just from a single fight just shows the brilliance of Hideo Kojima

the old guy (Ocelot) was the main character’s dad’s best friend (Naked Snake). He (Ocelot) conned the entire world out of loyalty to his best friend. His best friend (Naked Snake) wanted to take down his former best friend (Major Zero/Cipher), So Solid Snake thinks he has to kill ocelot. Nuff said.

The fight between liquid and snake in metal gear solid 4 is by far one of my favorite fights in video games.

So Old Guy's Brother's Spirit did legitimately possess GWHOGBA. GWHOGBA didn't like this. So GWHOGBA decided to ditch the arm and become a Cyborg instead. However, he wanted to take down Skynet, so he tricked it and everyone around GWHOGBA into believing he was possessed by Old Guy's Brother's arm when he really just had his personality adjusted though extensive hypnotism.

Reminded me of the movie the art of self defense
I felt like answering the question "How do the spartans move so fast with all that armor?" Canonically the suits are linked up to the wearers brain to predict their movements and help them so they don't have to move all that armor by themselves. I know anybody who is in the fandom will know this but I can see why they wouldn't know that. Just a little enlightening.
I mean..."It's power armor" kind of also explains it entirely. It struck me as a Really weird question for a person to have; maybe not fifteen years ago, but everyone's seen Iron Man now.

There's so much in that Metal Gear 4 fight, wish they watch the *full* fight.
The dual injection transition into the health bar plus the mgs1 theme was one of the most epic scenes that i've ever seen on a game.
Admittedly, you kinda need to have played all the other games to know what's happening and get the most appreciation from the fight.
Deserter gonna be honest mgs 4 was my first one and this fight scene still had some much raw emotional energy
I'd like to see a breakdown of the way CQC is portrayed in the series in general. The only thing I really know about it is that it draws heavily from Krav Magav.

Big Boss was more about boxing and judo while Solid snake prefers throwing kicks (Taekwondo) and Liquid is more about clench
The Boss CQC is similar to BB own since they developed CQC together
The last fight between Snake vs Liquid (Ocelot) was so damn amazing. Much more so if you follow the saga from at least Metal Gear Solid (PS1). I remember I felt a pure bliss doing that last fight.

I do appreciate the fact you take game aspects into consideration, like with God of War. Since it's two Gods going at it, certain things are going to be over the top, but can still be rooted in practicality. Same with Mortal Kombat. The best part is that the MGS4 final fight isn't just between Solid Snake and Liquid Ocelot. The names and music change after each sequence to be that of each main protagonist and antagonist in each MGS to that point. Solid Snake and Big Boss (Naked Snake), against Ocelot and Liquid, and both waging war for what they believe is The Boss's vision.
They're the sons of a battle spanning generations, both moulded to be the greatest soldiers known to man. They're cloned from what is widely regarded as the greatest of them all - Big Boss. While it's implied that Liquid is the inferior clone, I only learned recently that it was Solid Snake who was the defective one all along, and still manages to win. A battle for the world's beliefs, ideologies, liberties, all ends with a battle between two brothers who still have that score to settle.
It's pretty beautiful honestly.
The irony of Solid being inferior to Liquid the whole time is one of my favorite aspects of the story. In fact, if not for FoxDie, Solid could have easily been shot in the face at the end of MGS1. Liquid is such a fascinatingly tragic antagonist.

@@goncalobaia1574 In-game TPP looks super accurate but some things are a bit of a miss. Some of the knife disarms aren't super safe but they could potentially work, and to be fair we rarely get to see two trained soldiers actually engage in CQC against one another. MGS3's cutscenes have some amazingly realistic choreography when it comes to mono-e-mono CQC.

His ignorance of the halo franchise really showed there. If we are being honest, they are probably fighting faster than Bruce Lee on crack, they just slowed it down for us mere mortals.
I mean, I can understand being ignorant with the Halo franchise, but why in the fucking world would you interpret these as robots..? They literally look like suits of armor. A futuristic motorcyclist, if you will. They have a visor as well as segments gaps in the external armor is.
How are these RoBoTs?! When I first saw the franchise when I was fucking 10 I never once thought they were robots- I immediately thought they were guys in space/military suits.

Then you have the girl that thought, for some reason, The Stranger did a front kick which should have propelled the guy up in the air...The Stranger clearly did a "soccer kick" as Kratos was standing which would send him flying backwards, not up. There maybe should have been more lift, but oh well.
Truly disappointed in these two...
That final fight between Solid Snake & Liquid Ocelot still brings goose bumps & tears to my eyes.

MGS4's last fight scene was so freakin epic.
Still is one of the best fight scenes in gaming history. Especially with the history behind that fight, if you kept up with all the metal gears to that point and the story then it's just damn emotional with all the different names appearing on the health bars.
I agree and disagree on that. It was epic in isolation, but it was essentially the same end fight as MGS (the first one). It was even between the same characters (more or less).
