I don’t usually like when things repeat how real life went but this will hopefully be fun to watch

Orlando drafted Penny and Shaq. Then Shaq went to LA when Kobe was a rookie
They didn’t win right away because Kobe was too young and Utah and San Antonio was really good

it’s interesting the team building dynamics for each playoff team whenever you scan rosters. You can see where most teams are relying on a lot of depth but no true star, then there’s some teams just getting dragged along by a great player (Shaq and Len Bias), and then there’s the super teams (Suns and 76ers)
One thing I've noticed about this series is that the sim quality once you switched to the Eras version is considerably better for some reason.

Been waiting on the Lakers to win a championship again in this simulation but damn the 1997 team genuinely might have the worse roster to win a title in this sim (a lot of depth but their star is an older Clyde Drexler)
Ya it was an interesting team. Plus there were some injuries that impacted Philly.
That 1997 Lakers squad already is one of my favorite championship rosters so far in this sim. Just a very deep team of a lot of experienced and grizzled vets, and solid role players. Clyde Drexler, Toni Kukoc, Kenny Smith, Brad Daugherty, James Worthy, Fat Lever and Luc Longley. What a team. Good to see Clyde win a well deserved Finals MVP to cement his legacy as well.
Im doing one of these starting in 83 and I'm in 1995 now and not a single eastern conference team has won a championship since I started 😂
Jordan getting old, he has like 2 more years to win at least one chip which he might not do, same wit magic but i think he already proved himself

Def think Moses Malone and Dave Cowens should be on the GOAT list! They might not be top 10 guys, but they are right on that edge and I think definitely top 15 above guys like Dantley, Big O, Bill Russell and others

Magic is the GOAT of the series so far BUT the greatest individual player of the series has been Jordan. Yes there is a difference….
Call me crazy, but I’ve still got Mike over Magic. Magic has 2 more rings sure, but Mike has 3 more MVPs, 5 more scoring titles, and a DPOY. Magic definitely jumped Wilt in this episode but he’s still number 2 in my books. Besides that my top 10 hasn’t really changed so I’ll update it next episode
