No More Good Water by Jaybird Coleman (Harmonica Miscellanea 020)

Harmonica Miscellanea is an occasional video series covering various subjects related (or tangentially related) to harmonicas, playing harmonica, harmonica players, harmonica news and whatever else I fancy talking about.
Did this quick recording for someone I'm working with who's interested in playing solo harmonica pieces. I love this old Jaybird Coleman tune because it's so raw and earthy. Just one chord. Something about the purity of expression? I dunno.
I've been playing this now and then for a few years. It was interesting for me to revisit the original and see how far I drifted. I'm pretty sure when I first learned this I was playing closer to the recording. Time has mutated it a bit.

Really nice. I'm not used to hearing Blues played on a chromatic. Sounds great. I have to work on that.
