HPI Baja 5b for me! It’s the car that got me into Rc from the very beginning. Might be a pain to work on but still love it. That Vekta is badass too!

I like the best HPI Baja 5b n the rovan. They were derive from the classic buggy powered by the famous flat four air cooled... Baja 5 b is light no needed big engine...
Parts of baja like shock is ok realistic compare to its scale. Of course the vectra is derived from off road category as hammer its normal n should have that big bore shocks traiking arms etc. For me baja 5b rules!!!

but what do you think about the quality from the roven? Are they very cheap made and you would rather buy the hpi baja or are they ok from the quality and power?

I have a hpi baja 5b and hsp 5js (dont know if you ever heard of it) but I think the kraken overshadow both. I love the car like body that the kraken have...giving you the feeling of driving a gas car lol. Keep us updated of the broken baja.

I own all three of those rigs !! Cool stuff ! No dought in my mind , VEKTA5 is my favorite for sure , but I'm still breaking in my Taylor powered losi 5t , but my VEKTA5 with the Taylor 35 is a FREEKN blast to race with

$for$ I'd do the rovan 5b I have 2 of them mine and my son's and there great and can't beat the price .. $550.00 for a 1/5 scale gas buggy and a thousand upgrades cheap
Yeah. they are amazing for the price. We have 2 Rovans and 1 King Motor now..the KM was a roller and we slapped a 45cc in it, one Rovan got the same love and swapped the 29cc for a 45cc. People knock the cars because they are brand name only HPI fanboys but we also have an OG HPI 5B. You can't hardly tell them apart without the body on it. All parts match with both brands too.. I do, but the Kraken is now my favorite!Love to hear though! Our HPI is slow cuz it is an OG (23cc). Does tear up some grass though!
@@BMPoweredit's not slow those hpi baja 5b top speed is 50 it's all to do with the gear setting that's fast enough for me anyways lol

@@2wyldrc195 Good questions. The Rovan is the loudest. As for grass, I asked the same question. There are many homemade solutions out there, but haven't found anything perfect yet.
I found taking the smaller side pieces off the cover helps the grass go straight thro. Leaves a lot less in the car

1:25 Hilarious that different specs are shown on the screen. Weight for one, ground clearance for another, travel length for one wheel, diameter for another, kilograms for one and lbs for the other. Could you have made them more different?
I just bought the rovan baja 45cc a few weeks ago and i just love mines minus a few things but this its way its upgradeable

Well, the Rovan we have is only a 30.5cc, but the Zenoah destroyed it! The Vekta is 4 wheel drive too, so I'm sure that helped 😀.
@UCy6tb4XDw94UxxQve3_zJ0A I like them both! It depends on what you like. Buggy vs Baja truck style and 2 wheel vs 4 wheel. Rovan is cheaper by far, but tons of fun. Wish I could give you a clear decision here, but I cannot.
What's size motor does the kraken come with
It comes with a great Zenoah 32 cc engine.
rovan Baja for me they made them affordable,I have a shorty with a KM 36cc in it

everyone keeps calling 1/5 scale GIANT or TITANS. man this shit isnt even that big. i have the 5b, if you want big go 1/4 scale. and the kraken is a pos ! rovan is the cheaper version of king motor. king motor is really good.
Do you have a link to a 1/4 scale? I love the Rovan, and yeah I know it's the little brother to King motor, but I like the styling better. I will disagree about the Kraken. I absolutely love it. So much fun!
