I'd use the pantry/laundry room areas to create a smaller pantry and laundry and a powder room, making both the powder room and the laundry accessed from the foyer. Every 2+ bedroom house needs more than one toilet. I hope that's a sealed gas fireplace, not wood-burning.

Don't like the laundry room in the kitchen area. Should be where the bedrooms are. We don't take our clothes off in the kitchen. But maybe some people do. I'm not a fan of laundry room off or in the kitchen area. Didn't finish watching it.

Nice floorplan. There's a basement shown with windows from the outside. Upper floors are commonly depicted on home design channels but no one shows how basement interiors looks like. Outside of that, the tiles in the bathroom are perfect.. the countertops warm and inviting, and the walls are bright and classy--refreshing compared to white paneling. Lovely and balanced.

Очень приличная планировка для маленькой семьи. И внешний вид дома интересный. Нравится стиль шале. Но крышу надо было проще. На таких размерах и при такой планировке легко делается двускатная. Тем более, она подходит к стилю шале

I love the exterior design and kitchen layout. I'm going to suggest that you include the actual square footage that is heated and cooled in the video. Any time you have a plan with a basement I assume the HV/AC, hot water heater, and mech. goes in there but I have noticed that if a plan doesn't have a basement you don't provide space for some of those necessary things. Where I live (southern USA) we can't have basements so everything has to be above ground. Also, a clothes dryer should always vent to an outside wall.

Hey Andysuber, I noted you suggestions, we will definitely include these things in our future projects.

In another comment I suggested that heat pumps have an outside compressor, and on-demand hot water can be in a cabinet. As an alternative, a combi gas boiler in a cabinet can perform both functions. I do agree that a clothes dryer should have a short vent to the outside, though now there are heat pump dryers that do not vent outdoors.

@@Bobrogers99 I remember your comment. My problem with on demand hot water is that it still requires electricity to work even if it's a gas fed type. When Katrina hit, all those years ago, we were without power for more than a week but we had a gas hot water heater and gas cook top. We could at least take showers and cook on the gas stove and grill. I had to cook everything in the freezer before it went bad. Ice was scarce too but we finally got some and used all the coolers we could find. Since I live in an area prone to hurricanes and tornadoes I always have that stuff in my head.

@@andysuber941 A good point. I'm not unfamiliar with power outages. I live on a dirt road in a very rural area, and the power goes out with every big storm. Last winter we were out for three days after a snowstorm. The winter before we were out for four days in one stretch. But I have a generator and keep my propane tank full when a storm is forecasted. I depend on electricity to pump water, so even cold water is appreciated! When I was a kid living in Boston we were pretty poor and didn't have a water heater. To take a bath we heated water on the kitchen stove in two big aluminum kettles. Otherwise, we washed in cold water. It's good to be prepared for disruptions.

Nice layout, but it's lacking a guest bathroom and room for a gas boiler and a water boiler. In addition, planning a laundry room without natural ventilation raises questions.

A heat pump has its compressor outside, and on-demand hot water could be in a laundry room cabinet. OR a gas combi boiler could be housed in a laundry room cabinet.

Why do you need a boiler at all? Do you get your hot water or water in general from the local water supply like we Europeans do?

Дом отличный, но нету котельной. В России это необходимо и нету гостевого санузла. Но проект хороший. С меня лайк👍👏🎇💯

One bath for two bedrooms is not enough. The laundry needs to be set on an exterior wall for ventilation.
