Since it wouldn't make sense for her mother to look the exact same as when she was a child even many years later, it shows that this ideal side is only her imagination, made up from what she remembers of her mother and her wishes for a happy life, and the suffering side is the truth.
Don't let this short fool you. The other half of this video is heartbreaking. You will not leave it the same as you entered. Look for the full video and watch it though, the experience is worth it.

If you watch the full MV it will show both at the same time. Spoler alert: She later finds out her mom started another life with her lover and had a child, she then proceeds to invade the house and try to kill the child, she hesitates, but the mom enters the room, in a fit of rage gottsuki kills her mom and the lover. She ends up taking the child instead of abandoning it and goes to a lawless place and turns into a prostiture (she dies after 1-2 years there and the child avenges her sister). Anyway, too much to explain, go watch the MV.
