Yesss...I've been swearing by that Aphogee leave-in for years. Even many years ago when I would get my hair relaxed. Now I use it with the L.O.C. method, and I get pretty good results. I really feel like it helps my hair.

Yes!! The Uncle Funkys Daughter Midnight Train is sooooo hard to find. And it's expensive!! But it's awesome. I just found some in an obsure beauty supply store in Georgia and bought all 6 of their bottles! Used it on the next wash day and my hair looked gorgeous for the entire week💖💖💖! *does happy dance* 😍 💃

Aphogee and ORS used to be my favorite brands. I don’t remember how the leave worked but I definitely think I may try it again. Uncle Funky is hard to find so I never had a chance to try them either but aloe juice in spray leave ins is something I look for. Thanks for sharing and I always love your videos and personality 💕

Do you know your hair porosity? The Adwoa leave-in left my hair coated and stiff, but I am low porosity and my hair isn’t a fan of glycerin.
@@minimalassembly7893 I have high porosity hair so my hair absorbs everything. The issue that I have with lighter leave-ins is that they tend to leave my hair very frizzy and somewhat dry, so I have to immediately go in with a heavy leave-in to get any kind of benefit. Also my hair is very thick as well.

I use the Aphogee and it definitely works for me I have been using it for a little over a year now. I use it as my leave in on my freshly washed hair and I also use it for heat resistant when I want my hair straight

Thanks for the tips. This Vegas air stays dry and keeping moisture and retaining length can be a real struggle
Avoid heavy humectant products with things like glycerin and honey high in the ingredients list or only use them underneath a product without those ingredients. Argan and Olive oil as ingredients are also great for dry regions. The LOG method (liquid, oil, gel) with Kinky-Curly Knot Today, Kinky-Curly Custard and the Kinky-Curly Perfectly Polished oil worked well for me when I spent some time in California during a Summer heat wave. Vegas is obviously more dry. There are probably a bunch of other similar product combinations that would work for you if you find a good leave-in, oil and gel that you like.

Kendra that Mane Choice biotin gel would be amazing if it didn't flake like HELL. I've tried spray leave-ins and creams with it, and it flakes; on its own, it still Flakes. I dont know why. But my hair be so defined, yet soft...ughh!!! I just threw the jar in the trash yesterday. If you figure out how to stop the flakes and hair boogers, let a Sis know 😘😘

I've heard about that aphogee leave in for a couple of years, but just never tried it. Maybe I will now since it's gonna get cooler soon. My favorite is currently the Lemongrass Leave In from Alikay Naturals. It detangles my hair like no other and the smell is so delicious 🤗 ♥️🙌🏿 I think I'm on my third bottle now and I'm almost out. I used to use the Sacred Tiare also and I like that one a lot, but it's hard to find now
