      @BookScribeShiv  Před 2 lety

      Hi Jaanu. From ancient period, people living beyond Indus were called Hindos by the Romans. It was a geographical term. During medieval period, Islamic rulers and writers mention land of the ‘Hindos’ as Hindustan. This literally means Hindu-Hindos people and Stan-country. When the Islamic rulers invaded India they claimed to rule entire Hindustan but it was only after our Independence, we became a political nation called India or Hindustan.
