I just applied my final coat of 5 to 1 epoxy laminating resin to my finishing cloth today on my transom today. Almost perfect, would like to gel coat coat in a few days. Is this going to be an issue?
What stop the gelcoat curing tacky? I didn't see any flowcoat additive or other protection from oxygen.
Hers what’s probably a dumb question.. on a Repair like a spider crack that is cosmetic, could I use bondo then gelcoat over the bondo?

On your website it says you Cannot add gel coat over epoxy without total boat 2 step primer or total boat protect sooo what is it ?

Yes.
i saw video a couple weeks ago were the epoxy and gel coat was tested for strength against poly resin. The epoxy came out stronger. You should test it your self or at least find the video.

One is made for adhesion and the other one is made to strengthen. Of course one is going to be stronger than the other

It depends how I was done. Not having seen the video yet, gel-coat over epoxy is different than applying expoxy on gel-coat because epoxy will adhere to gel-coat better than the gel-coat will adhere to the epoxy. Whereas, gel-coat will adhere much better on polyester than it adhere to expoxy.
Time lapse/sped up video is irritating. Gets pretty old.
