I'm gonna be showing you a really cool way to enhance your AI art generator called Midjourney! We're gonna be using the name of an artist as a keyword to totally change the output of the generator to match the style of the artist you choose. I'll also be showcasing a great resource by Randolin which contains over 1000 artists organized into different categories. Plus, I'll be emphasizing that adding the artist keyword to the prompt creates a template for the output and makes the result more specific while making the art more like the work of the chosen artist. @@aiadvantage Igor, there's another interesting thing: I sometimes write "in the style of Fritz Lang" (who is not a painter but the famous director of the movie "Metropolis"), and I actually get AI creations with that retro-futuristic style, in sepia color.

Really loved your video! Heard of Stylar AI? It's a web tool for logo, 3D, and interior design, with image upload and auto prompt capabilities. Still evolving, but could enhance your creative process.
I think using artistic terms and styles is a better ethical practice. Just looking up the name of the artist you like will often bring you to the various styles and techniques they use.
I just feel like using their name is like taking their hard earned work and talent.

The online spreadsheet page is not failing to load the images. Those areas are just blank/empty table cells (I checked).

Hello Sir, does it work only with midjourney or can you use it with other AIs like Leonardo or playground?
BTW, using an artist won't always give you those results. If you know how to write prompts and know art terms and styles, you can get even better results.
Is there a resource out there that lets you browse through renditions of those different art terms and styles, similar to this spreadsheet of artists?
Yes, you are rightly said and I think for experiment Bluw Willow is the best free image generating AI. It's completely free
@@vickmackey24 I use the names of different art techniques. Wikipedia can give you a list. Search for art and print techniques those two categories are different but share methods.
How could I do something like a 1 color vector type of image. A Honda parked sideways vector

This is the issue that many fine artists have with AI art. Because those artist's art was used in the Laion DB, it allows the tool to reproduce their style without any compensation.
Exactly, this is the reason I stay away from adding an artist to a promt. I make exceptions if the artist is already dead, though.

Sure, most people who have been doing this for any length of time will know about adding an artist, but the big takeaway from this video for those people is the spreadsheets with artists. I'd never have thought to have used some of them, or even had the time to look half of them up. Does "character" work in Automatic 1111 or InvokeAI?
Thanks for pointing that out. Some of the best ones in there I have never heard of before and now I totally seek out their art which is an amazing side effect. Also, yes it seems to work in other art generators too yes! But please try it out and report back with your findings.
@@aiadvantage I used Automatic 1111 to try it out. The model I picked was "deliberate" because I like its results. I had the same prompt (including "character by") and setting for all of the artists that I tried. To be fair, that would have restricted the creativity to emulate the artist, and many that I picked may have had similar styles, but you could see stylistic differences. There was nothing that would make you think of one of their real-life paintings/drawings, but it should suit most styles someone is looking for. I tried 28 artists and really don't know which I prefer!

Something I would like to know is...can I bring my own image to any of these AI image generators and have them transform the images Into some kind of artist/artistic rendering? Perhaps a Caricature.
absolutely, upload it, then copy image id (right click) and use that as one of your prompts, add a other “caricsture”prompt, done! let me know how it goes
heck yeah, TAA is correct, just need to upload with the + button on discord near chat and then right click and copy link, type /imagine (paste link) then go for it.

The key is to use multiple artists in your prompt. It's the combination and order of the artists that give you really insane stuff. But you have to know different artists and their styles in order to combine things in unexpected ways. Then comes your subject matter. Don't hate it. Incorporate it into your work. 🤘😎
I respectfully think by using an artist’s name you are emulating his style as much as you would drawing the same artist in real life.

Im using Dream wombo not premium.....thats to your discovery...but id rather stick to my sketch....and own word prompt.....and thats make my A.i art...visualy rear to others...because it leaves more bias to my design...But thanks this is helpful....

Hey there, I have been trying but it doesn't export as a excel file. What I did is export it as a html website and provided the zip download in the description. So now you can simply open it through your browser. Hope that helps

I am seriously saying, the AI company should reveal the frequency of people using artists' names and pay them according to this. Otherwise we as the whole human race will no longer be driven to create new things, but only to copy what we have. I think the creators should have the copy writes.

@@aiadvantage Yes. I thought it was my headphones, but then tried a different pair and same thing. Could be just me though. sometimes the background music can be a little bit of distraction from the message. This was the case for your video and no other videos on CZcams. How can I use this AI art generator without having to deal with discord?
I went to discord to try to use this AI, and I don't like discord it's very "not user-friendly"!
You have a point there. All I used is discord but a feel like they had a second way. Maybe check their website or someone else can help here?
The only way to access Midjourney right now is through Discord, maybe in a future update!
You can create your own personal channel on discord so you dont have any other peoples art
Spreadsheet not opening properly
I included a zip download for the entire file on my own dropbox as a backup now.
What about copy writing, for me this is clearer than water for s legal issue if you profit from any created ai imagine like this.

I know it's a grey area and I will reverse Google search but basically I'm wondering, lets say give a prompt like /imagine a man in a suit, in the style of Disney. Is that okay to copy Disney's style of drawing or is it only copyright when you take the actual pictures. Hope that make sense lol
@@aiadvantage and midijourney are currently being sued. So, I use it at my own discretion. The license that comes with the subscription is not really valid as they also need to get permission to use the database. But only time will tell who will win that court case
@@kahyui2486 you get an answer? I have been wondering the same. like a series of prompts ending "character sketch similar to (artist name)" so its the style of the artist, but not an actual painting etc by the artist

The before and after results you show at 0:25 are just two different styles. This is what happens when people that use AI have no clue about art itself.

You can go to file, and make a copy of your own. I also downloaded the file as a website and provided the download in the description.
I refuse to use artist names in art I publish or showcase outside of my friend group. That's the least you can do, really.
