Sheikh, has explained very clearly the deferences between men and women but each are respected to each other. Allah gave higher authority to men with tough responsibilities which women are not given. Some quality women have men don't naturally. So there is no competition among them but respect for each other. Allah has created men and women with many differences.
If I will sacrifice my life and money to protect my wife and our power in decision making will be 50-50: this is simply unfair and it will just cause deadlock!!
At least my say should be 51% if I deserve to be a gentleman (رجل)

In any case if one side is not able to convince the other, one them must accept full responsibility if his or her opinion is selected.
Any human that abuses another is wrotten inside. A true man never abuses his spouse. Your responsibilities are first to your spouse. Her family and your family have nothing to do with you. She is not your families slave. Your mother, father are your responsibility. But first you fulfil the wife's right. An evil man or women are both guilty is the court of God for the abuse they commit.

Masculinity which is not islamic rujula, which goes against orthodox islamic principles.
Nonsense toxic masculinity is a social construct
Characteristics of a male man, or boy. The reason you have balls and testosterone is that it makes you physically stronger. You are what your creator made you. If you want to cut off your man organs to make yourself a female. Your Y chromosome will not change as it's in every cell of your body.
Toxic masculinity is a narsistic man who always expects a full obedience and saw his wife just a sex slave...
But a toxic femininity is also possible! It is a lady full of loyalty to her mother and sisters but zero tolerance to the family of his husband. May Allah help that man😢
Don't forget, there is toxic femininity as well.
