Best deals in town are right here at Angels' Attic! Hear how you can save 20% on purchases. I scored a Spode Blue Room Collection "Sunflowers" platter for $3.20. See the perfect pair of Chinoiserie lamps that inspire a bedroom renovation. Crystal brands such as Lenox, Crystal Clear, and Durand are bargains. Lots of dish patterns, including one on my wish list that got away. Hand painted Nippon set is stunning. Linen department pleases with napkins in a rainbow of colors. There are a few new in box items perfect for gifting. A vintage Boch Delft plate is a find of the day for under $5.00! Kate Spade handbags are perfect and in brand new condition. Christmas in July is well merchandised like a retail store. Incredible prices on home, tabletop, and fashion accessories.

I would have bought 10 of those dishes, then 10 cups to go with those dishes, then 10 paintings to go with those cups, then 10 of anything to go with those paintings. Then I would go to my car and cry. I actually had to get a meditation book called "30 Days to Stop Being a Shopaholic: by Harper Daniels, it's been helping haha. 😂
I completely understand. It's also an affordable way to shop for gifts. Maybe this would be a good outlet for filling a Christmas list. The thrill of shopping for others.
Had to learn that for everything I bring home something has to leave.
I love finding fancy hotel and restaurant dishes made by well know companies.
That plates and dish wares that are hand painted with gold are very beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
The hand painted Nippon with rising sun mark is an early Noritake mark. Love Noritake.❤ Yellow cake with chocolate icing, a nice memory.😊
Hi Mary Beth, I have several utensil holders and I use them to hold reading glasses. Keeps them handy.😄
I do the same thing! I have one on my nightstand to hold my glasses while I sleep.
Loved the shopping trip!
Wow Beautiful items, especially those lamps! Thank you for sharing.
What a awesome place those prices were better than garage sale prices. They need a store in Tulsa ok.
Thank you! I love that you share the history! Love your content!!
Love your new lamps!
Thank you! Just fabulous!!❤
I love the blue Sunflower Plate and the Blue Delft Plate. They are gorgeous!
I loved the walk through Angel's Attic, yes I agree on the Chinese lamps. They would have found a home with me too. It is fun to see pieces I actually own like the glass cake plate I've had for many years. I have that exact Delft plate as I inherited my mother's delft she had collected when as a child we lived on the German/Nederland border in Aachen. I have learned so much from you on back stamps on china pieces and glass/crystal items you are such a weather of knowledge, thank you again on telling me about American brilliant cut glass I was very intrigued and after your explanation I discovered that pieces are offered on sale on line for as much as $1,500 very similar to the bowl I found at goodwill for $3.99, I could watch your videos for hours, take care and see you next week.
I appreciate you following my channel. What a deal you got on the American Brilliant bowl. There are many more treasures out there waiting to be discovered. Wonderful that you grew up in Aachen, so close to The Netherlands.
Love when I find some great cloth napkins. I often buy a lone napkin- then use it to wrap around a wine bottle-and give as a gift for holidays or housewarming!!
Love your wine bottle wrap idea! 🍷
Wow! That store is amazing!
It really is! Truly a hidden gem in the Houston area.
I love that Delft plate it's gorgeous. I always enjoy your videos and I'm learning so much from you.
Thanks so much! 😊
Good Afternoon Lady Mary Beth 🙋♀️ Beautiful Delft plate with lots of history ❤❤Lots of beautiful items ❤😊 Have a great day 😊❤
I appreciate you watching!
They sure did have a lot of nice stuff❤
Will try and pop in more often. Thanks for watching!
I lived in Barbados and I was so glad to here you mentioned it on your show I always watch you 🥰
Neat that you lived in Barbados! Thanks for watching. Thinking I should have bought those Sandy Lane Hotel plates from Wedgwood.
Loved today’s video ❣️ Beautiful finds for yourself & this shop would definitely be on my list of places, if I lived in the area! I really liked the oval clear sandwich pattern, I haven’t seen that shape before. Please share with us the after new shades photo of the awesomely beautiful Chinoiserie lamps. Thank you so much for sharing your videos and knowledge with us.😊❤
The Christmas Ball pattern is very pretty I found several pieces for a dollar a piece once I got home I had wished I had got all of it I was trying to get pieces I could use with my other patterns . I got sugar and creamer cups and saucers gravy boat with under plate and a guess a lidded casserole dish . I goes well with a lot of others patterns .
I have the Noritake Christmas Bells pattern its great for a "White Christmas"
Hello Mary Beth. Lovely to start (what's going to be a crazy busy)the day with you. And it started with a bang. Just in front were lovely angel wings. One of my sisters loves angels and angel wings. I would snatch those so fast for her . I'm going to google them to see if they're online.
Cheers!
Hope you have a great week. Get those angel wings!
I love love love 💗 your CZcams videos!! I have been living in Rosenheim Germany for over 28 years. My husband and I are moving to San Antonio Texas and I have been a collector of fine arts , Glass and porcelain. Our furniture is the 1890 neo-renaissance furniture with the claws. My collection of porcelain dinnerware is Hirschenreuter Selb 1932 which was designed by Paul Müller. I really love watching all the beautiful antiques that are available there, I look forward to shopping when we finally move. My husband and I had a Bakery in our house which is over 400 years old. It's sad that we have to sell our beautiful old house but, we are excited to live near my children. Your videos give me lots of inspiration because I know that I don't have to stop my love for antique collecting 😊. Danke für die ausführliche Information. Servus!!
Delighted to hear from you! Your Bavarian home sounds lovely, with a rich history. San Antonio will be a wonderful new chapter, in a town settled by German immigrants. Hope your move goes smoothly with fun and adventures ahead.
Are you on our Facebook group page? I invite you to join us at "Lady Mary Beth's Table". You could share your collections and finds with us. It is a wonderful and private community. Should be a link in this video description.
@@LadyMaryBeth I will definitely consider joining your Facebook page. Danke schön.
I like your dress and you are pretty and royalty ❤❤❤
I collect delft ;sure lovely plate. Lived in Holland Michigan years ago/ live in NM now
I have shopped this store for many years…I believe when you spend $100 you get a coupon for 50 % off. ❤ I always shop here first! ❤❤❤ They also offer great daily specials. 🎉
Yes, I think that is correct. You can also save your half off deal for a future purchase. Angels' Attic is truly a hidden gem in the Houston area.
@@LadyMaryBeth Yes…I used one on a Vera Bradley bag the other day and still have two left. I guess I shop too much, but I buy clothes also. I would have grabbed the Kate Spade red bag in a heartbeat. I must have been there right after you. I bought the little Santa bowl in the lower right of the Christmas display for .50! It called to me lol 😂
Those vase fillers would also work well to decorate the fireplace for summer when logs would look a bit too wintery x
White birch logs, a copper boiler or large blue and white vase full of silk flowers, or a stained glass firescreen can work also.
Great video - very enjoyable and informative 😊
Thanks for coming along for Angels' Attic. Such deals here.
Most import yellow cake with chocolate icing is my favorite! Thank you for explaining the utensil holder. I was gifted one and did not know its use.
My Mom always had a yellow cake with chocolate icing under the cake dome. Sweet memory and time to bake one. That utensil holder has many perplexed. Can be a useful item on a buffet.
What gorgeous lamps!! My heart melts for Asian and blue too!! Many great items! The dishes with gold was stunning!! I love joining you on these thrifting outings!! It's always so informative and helpful! Thank you. Take care..
Thank you so much!
Love the walk through today. I would have bought the red Kate Spade crossbody bag, perfect for shopping! The lamps are beautiful; you will have to show us the shades and what you did with them. Did you makeover a bedroom? Have a blessed week. ❤
Considering a bedroom makeover and will wait on the shades. Will first renovate the master bath and then focus on the bedroom. Was thrilled to find the lamps for such a deal. Thanks and have a wonderful week!
Enjoyed our visit to Angeles Attic. That Noritake would have come home with me.
20:15 I have some of the Lenox Fanlight glasses in DOF and highballs. I'm a sucker for frosted cuts in glassware 🤩
It's funny to see one of my patterns show up in your video 😄
Was a first for me to see this lovely pattern. 🤍
This place had such nice items and were adding more by the minute! I hope you bought that red bag if you needed one because I just watched a fashion video and apparently red is the 'in' color and Kate Spade items are always nice. Another great video.
Got the red Kate Spade. ❤️
Great, it was a good one! You showed us so many things that I would have purchased.
The Noritake Porcelain set is, to say the least, exquisite!
red purse and blue plate, fantastic~
Lady Mary Beth,I have a confession:
I have a massive crush on you!!!
It’s true!
I love your gracefulness,I love how you speak, the sound of your voice falls upon my ears like butter🥰
You are stunning.
I would give anything for 5 minutes,to hold your hand.
❤️
Perfect elegant coffee pot and the Polish teapot - both tempting. You know I would grab the Noritake. Yes, one hopes that the new owner will take care of that set. X
I was playing nice with that customer. She was a bully and I just about lost my Southern grace. Anyway, had a good day of shopping and can't wait to go back.
@@LadyMaryBeth haha! I could tell the something was amiss by your still-very-polite tone. If ever you let the Southern Charm slip then I will want the video😂😂😂x
That set of 42 for $85 was so beautiful
All the dish patterns were tempting. 🍽️
Fun shopping! ❤
Such deals in this store!
Thank you, Lady Mary Beth. That's a very nice shop. Wish I could just pop in. 👍💕
Maybe one day!
Wouldn't that be nice! 👍💕
Thanks for taking us along, great shop, love those lamps💙 $57 on the Noritaki ❤️❤️ you are so kind😊
The truth of it is that the customer was a bully. I could not deal with her rudeness while filming. Was easier to let her have it. I will not be so nice next time. 😂
As you said, if you’re not good at bow making some of those bows are worth $4.00 - royal blue bow in left hand corner is Hobby Lobby ribbon. Think Costco has best value in ribbon - 50 yards of 2.5” good quality wire edged ribbon for $7.99. In Costco stores now so have replenished my stash - got to get it while you can!!
Would be good for wreaths, too. Love the high quality and affordable Costco ribbon. 🎀
I would like to see the lamps when you replace the shades.
Waiting on a bedroom renovation. Will be next year at best. I follow a lampshade designer, Chantier Studio, on Instagram. Might reach out to her for custom shades.
I need to go to Texas thrifting!
We rarely have anything that nice in my area and I can't afford the travel AND shopping.😊
I understand. Have you thought about shopping Goodwill online?
Those lamps are beautiful absolutely gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
Thank you so much! Was thrilled to find the perfect pair.
Beautiful thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks as always for watching! Have a great week!
Some really great deals. Well done! 🎉
Thanks! 😀
Thank you! 😊
I enjoy your videos very much. Just decorated my dining hutch with Chinoiserie and my grandmother’s vintage white cats and asian figurines.
I can imagine the beauty! Chinoiserie adds class and elegance to any look. Are you on our Facebook group page? I invite you to join us at "Lady Mary Beth's Table".
Just joined. Thank you.
Question-Where do you get your lamp shades from? Thank you! I learn so much from you; so gracious of you to go into such detail. I have moved from the New Orleans area to Foley, AL. I have at least 7 fabulous thrift stores near my current location. Loving my treasures and great fines!
Oh my gosh! You hit the jackpot on this trip! I would have had a full cart shopping with you. Your trips shopping make me want to move to the Houston area as you have such wonderful shopping in your area! I just don’t find such lovely finds here in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Have you shopped Franklin area stores? Have featured some good ones on the channel.
I think champagne glasses make great and elegant parfait dishes!
Love the ones with blue stems!
(Edit: I find a lot of interesting champagne glasses from "wine tasting" events at my favorite thrift that are perfect for layered desserts!)
Love your idea to use flutes for layered desserts!
Can see a chocolate mousse with a dollop of whipped cream and a strawberry sliver.
Good afternoon 😊
Thanks for watching!
New here from Wills Channel! ❤😊
Thanks for joining me! Have enjoyed following Will’s thrifting adventures.
Yay, it’s Sunday! I am always waiting patiently for your videos! Thank you, thank you, for all that you share! I am learning so much! It means a great deal that you take time to do this for us! You probably already know this, but I thought it might be fun for other people to know. Japan in Japanese is Nippon. Later Shortened to Nipon and they would say Nihon. The i is pronounced with a long e and the o is the sound , like in loan, I lived in Northern Japan, from Koriyama to Sendai then to Hirosaki, then Morioka, as a missionary and fell in love with the the place and people. Love the Mikasa and Norataki brands but always come back to the European brands. Obsessed with Waterford Crystal, and the blue or Red and white anything. Transfer-ware. Thank you again and hugs from Utah!
Oh my goodness, the Delf plate is perfect!!
Oh my gosh, the lamps!! I’m drooling!! What a great day for you!!
Thanks for sharing your insight on Nippon. I came across Nippon=Japan recently and should have shared with viewers. Bet you have some amazing experiences of living in Japan. I share your Waterford obsession. About to unpack a shopgoodwill purchase with a Waterford Millennium coaster/bowl. They did not recognize as Waterford.
Lots of excellent treasures at great prices. To be honest, a most of the prices beat Goodwills in my area for the items of less quality. Add in 20% off and it should be a primary not secondary place to buy home goods and gifts.
My family inherited a lot of quality china, silver, glass and crystal. So it was kept at Mom’s and it went to wherever it was needed and then returned. We learned early how to care for it and keep to it clean. First they were carefully rinsed. We had towels that fit the sinks as a covering and water on top to prevent accidental chips and cracks from slippage. Rarely did anything happen under our careful watch. We were caretakers and users not owner as some think of it now. It is a gift to use 150-200 yr old china and 100 yr old glass dishes that should be carefully preserved for those who come after us as it came to us. Though they had staff in their time and we do not (usually), lol.
Love hearing about your family treasures with care and keeping of them. Hoping we can create the wave for younger generations to embrace china, crystal, and silver. Thanks for your message.
Those lamps are Wildwood . About $200 each when new in the 1980 or 90’s. I have one exactly like that.
Thanks for sharing the brand. Happy to know more about these bargain lamps. Wildwood Chinoiserie lamps start about $200 for vintage and $600+ retail.
Top 3! 🎉🎉🎉
Wow just Friday I saw the fd rimmed Noritake set. Went back for it...gone...I only was able to buy 1 teacup and saucers.
It happens. Keep going back and you will find more treasures.
Love the lamps. Let us know what shades you chose.
THERE IS ALSO AN ANGELS ATTIC IN GRAPEVINE TEXAS...ALSO GRAPEVINE HAS 30 THRIFT SHOPS...YES! 30.
Hope to feature on a future North Texas trip. Thanks for the tip!
@@LadyMaryBeth GREETINGS FROM ARLINGTON TEXAS. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK OUT QVC AND HSN FOR CHINOISERIE ITEMS. I JUST BOUGHT THE CUTEST CHINOISERIE RUG FOR MY BATHROOM.
I wonder if you could tell me if there is a market for a complete 8 piece set of Spode dinnerware. I don’t know if you have time to answer our questions.
Spode is highly regarded and great for reselling. Make sure no chips or crazing. A consignment store or eBay would be options.
Love the lamps! I thoroughly enjoyed your German home tour, was wondering if you have a Texas home tour?
Here is our holiday home tour in Texas.

@@LadyMaryBeth Thank you so much!! I am going to Germany for 2 weeks to go to the Christmas Markets and hope to find one of the smokers. I never heard of them. You home is stunning!! I had a cross stitch blog with a friend for a few years, Stitchingfriendsforever, and loved seeing your cross stitch pieces. Your home is beautiful and I just love how you decorate with all your finds. Thank you for sharing!!
❤
Mary Beth ... I am currently living in Las Vegas Nevada. Would you happen to know of any places like this here ? I am new to you channel ...and am so excited I found you. Plz advise. Gratefully' Colette
Great to hear from you! Vegas is on my list for future filming. There is a 2-story Goodwill. Antique Mall of America has 43,000 square feet of treasures. Let me know what you find.
If like it buy and have the thrill of looking for more
Thrifting is a great gift source, so even more fun to shop and save. Christmas is coming!
Hi Mary Beth ,how l know when is waterford cristal and the difference between múrano and waterford..thanks
Murano glass is made near Venice, Italy and is a clear or colorful art glass. You might see swirls or gold flecks. Waterford is traditionally made in Ireland of clear crystal with a more formal look and hand-cut. Modern pieces are machine cut, made in Eastern Europe, and not as intricate.
Great show today. Is it possible to purchase on line and ship?? 🎉
Angels’ Attic does not have an online store. Sometimes, shops that I feature will make an exception and help viewers with purchases. It’s always worth a call.
How do they keep resellers from wiping them out
Hoping that resellers have not discovered the deals here. Though, there was a rather eager customer who bullied me into giving her some dishes. She said she is there everyday and should have them. I suspect she flips items.
I'm sure if that would happen they would have to go up on their cost and that would be a shame.
Which cideo talked about the silverware. I was one of the subscribers who requested. Did I miss the video? Can you link it in the comment please?
czcams.com/video/Nx0SfS9Y2mo/video.html
Drab to Fab video with components of the table. Flatware tips shared here. 🍴
Thanks I enjoyed watching it.
Can you do a segment on Silverplate and Sterling silver? As well as how to upkeep and store sterling and silverplate flatware and service. Thank you!
Retailers know that no one will have any money by Christmas.
You make a good point! The resale industry is growing in this economy.
First! 🥸🥳
Thanks for being FIRST to view!
Visited MAM today and I wasn't impressed. It was packed and the pickings of quality vintage glass wearwas slim. The boutique which you featured on previous videos didn't impress. I will say that it was organized, but items lacked the wow effect.
Sorry to hear. Next Friday-Saturday is the half-price sale to be followed by the store reset. Saturday can be picked over, especially with tax-free weekend. Have found good deals there the last few visits.
