I still remember one pleasent dream I had when I fell to the sleep next to the vacuum when my grandma was vacuuming my room. It was like 40 years ago but I still remember it.
I swear hoovers at everyone’s grandparents house hits different

Well what was the dream?
Excellent contribution. Few people realize how powerful something like this can be. To see someone's silhouette moving through the glass and watching them take care of things for you, especially when you were a child. This evokes many powerful memories.
I was never adept at self control, so when my mom would start vacuuming I would dart out of my room as quick as I could just so I could sit on the couch near her and take in every single second of that wonderful calming noise. I also loved it when the neighbors would use any kind of machinery that produced a noise similar to this. I can't even explain how much I like it.
Me too. Plus the sense of disappointment when it ended.

Eveytime my mom was in a room hairdrying I would go into her room an lie in her bed and pass out 😄😴😴🤤
I have the same experience. I am 44 yrs old now and still seek this comforting sound. I think it resonates with our souls.
I may only be 20 but this brings me back to when I was really young, I always remember when my dad would vacuum the house it would last hours. And I remember getting under the covers while it happened, I’d be so relaxed and be so cozy. It always made me feel so safe.
I have the same memories but with my mother vacuuming :) lying down comfy on the couch. A light blanket. Throw pillows everywhere 😂 bliss 🤤

When I lived in California, I would stay an extra hour at the office to relax, waiting for the traffic to ease up before heading home... but also because the janitor would come around to vacuum the office next to ours. These sounds remind me of that. Thank you for yet another great video.
Oh, I was working at a pretty well paid company for a while and we had cleaning staff vacuum our office (for about 15 people) every Friday. Those 15 minutes were more relaxing than my lunch breaks. :D

I’ve done the same, at my old job we had a cleaning lady come once a week and she would vacuum the entire office. She would only vacuum for 30 min because she was very thorough! But those 30 min made my day😌
Same here! I live in an eastern seaboard state, but I dealt with our company’s customers that were west of the Mississippi, so I came in 1 hour later and worked 1 hour later than the rest of the phone sales team. On Fridays, the cleaning crew came in at 5:00, when everyone except me left for the day. As soon as the vacuuming started, I didn’t get any more work done because my eyes rolled back and my head started bobbing, just like when sitting in the pew on Sunday morning!
i always stayed late at the office. I really got to respect the hard work done by the cleaning staff & the long hours away from their families. It was great to know them by name.
Reminds me when I was a kid and on Saturday mornings I would be laying in bed and my mom would be vacuuming in the other room. That was back in the late 70s and early 80s.
This is what I’ve been looking for! 😭 For me, the relaxation isn’t just the vacuum noise but the rhythmic back and forth sound. Several people have commented there same thing, but I now realize why the other vacuum vids don’t do as much for me: the high pitched whirring. It’s harder to hear here since it’s not in the same room. 🤯 As a side note: dude, with all of these vacuum vids, you must have the freaking cleanest carpets on the planet 😂

It's this way that I realised I loved the sound of vacuums . When i was a child I would be in my room and listen to my mum hoovering up and I would suddenly be really relaxed, thanks for the videos keep up the great work. Take care and stay safe

Thank you very much for this video. Personally speaking, having the sound of the vacuum in another room makes all the difference in the world to me. There are other great videos on CZcams of vacuums running, but none of them are as relaxing to me as this is. I much prefer the more subtle sound of the vacuuming being done in an adjoining room, so thank you again for thinking to do this.

Vacuums make a high pitched noise that you can hear here, but in my experience I don’t hear that high pitched noise through walls which is part of the reason a vacuum sounds better through a wall in my opinion. It is muted a bit here which helps and despite this complaint it’s the best vacuum sound I’ve heard on CZcams.

This is a good one. There is something so different about a "live" vacuum and those CZcams vids - the live vacuum gives me major goosebumps, much more so than the vids. You might be onto something by recording from another room. Please keep it up!
