How To Reinstall Windows 10 On Asus E203N | UEFI USB BOOT

- Today in this video I am going to #reinstall #windows10 from a UEFI bootable USB drive to Asus e203n.
This #Asus E203N does not support legacy boot. So the standard legacy bootable USB drive would not support in this mini laptop.

I used rufus to do it , i put it in GPT since i have the same laptop as yours ,but still the same problem, when i tried it on another different laptop, it worked but mine not, why?

I have similar Asus 11.6 inch laptop with hdd, instead of emmc version. I created uefi bootable usb with Windows 7 using Rofus. I am able to boot from my usb stick but after Loading Windows Files, it is stuck at Starting Windows with Windows logo for hours.
if it it has any hard drive instead of emmc card then there is a way . Just take out the hdd and format it with help of another pc ! make sure you do back up your data before you start the process!! also there is another bootable partition and windows recovery software which is called spotmau could help to format the emmc card. unfortunately its very hard to get.

Change the boot type if its in legacy then change into UEFI. Or if its UEFI then change to legacy. If the process does not work then try to format the HDD by external pc.

Touch driver should be updated by itself after reinstall the windows. However if it does not get updated by itself then please disconnect all source of power and disconnect the touchpaper and wait for few minutes and then reconnect. Hope the issue should be resolved.

Bro at 4:36 my uefi usb is recognised but when i click on it, nothing happen there is just a black screen which pops up for one millisecond and then it goes back to bios, can you fix it please
Make sure your boot setup was correct. Remember if your BIOS setting on UEFI format than Your Bootable USB has to be in GPT bootable windows. Also, your secure boot has to be on. On the other hand, if boot type in Legacy, then your secure boot has to be disabled and your bootable USB has to be in MBR format. Let's make it a bit easier. How did you create your windows' installation USB?
@@thepcphone hello i have the same problem, when i click on the uefi, theres a manufacture logo and the loading circle but i kept waiting for 2-3 hours and it cannot go into the setup screen. I made the usb bootable with GPT via Rufus and i disabled the secure boot. Do you know how to fix? (sorry english is bad)
i have the same E203MA . during windows installation it gave an error and now it doesn't detect the hard disk and shows that it just have 29Gb hard disk . what should i to ?
Why i dont have a boot option setup
Because it has only UEFI based boot option, so you must need to have a bootable USB which one in UEFI format Not in legacy !! If it helps then hope you would subscribe to my channel!

Check if you created the bootable USB correctly or not? GPT For UEFI and MBR for legacy
I got problem mine which is error code 0xc0000001 do you have any idea?

Thank you for the caption. Now I successfully installed windows 8.1 with her 5 from your video. Earlier I didn't know what you meant by showing 2 pen drives! Earlier, when I connected a bootable usb device, it was only showing as storage device, not under bootable device. But I was thinking that it maybe because laptop only accepting usb 3 drives! After reading caption, I knew it needs uefi bootable USB.
It has EMMC, not SSD. Usb disk, not usb disc. Disc is round. Compact disc, but hard disk, usb disk, not hard disc, usb disc.
You didn't mention the exact model number of your laptop. E203NAH has diffrent models. One has EMMC while other has HDD. Mine is E203NAH-FD114T. It is HDD model.
New buyers, don't go for emmc model as you can't upgrade emmc storage unless you are adventurous type and ready to take risk and replace the original emmc with higher capacity emmc.
