-No Signboard Seafood for chili crab! I actually recommend going to the Geylang location. That has better rating and overall service/vibe than this one at Clarke. The one at Clarke was so empty heheh but the crab was still good just so expensive!

You gotta eat the sambal stingray with the accompanying Cincalok sauce. It is made from fermented tiny shrimp with lime, chili and onion. It will totally take the dish to another level.

I was skeptical when you said that the crab was not local and that it came from Canada, but when you were working on one of the pincers I was able to confirm that the crab was indeed a Dungeness crab. Now I know where all our jumbo crabs have been exported to. Cheers, from BC, Canada

Definitely the Laksa
grilled stingray usually means the wings. there is bone within but it's basically just a horizontal sheet that looks like stuck together linguini strips sandwiched between slabs of flesh. usually if done right, the "bone" can be eaten; kinda like slightly tougher cartilage.

check out the tourist center on Orchard Road. don't know if it's still on but years ago, you could get discount coupon for Singapore Chili Crab at one of the famous seafood franchises (i forget exactly for which; might even have been "no signboard" but i'm not sure anymore...)

Heard No Signboard is the spot to go for chilli crab in Singapore. But wow imported from Canada? Makes sense why it is so pricey
There are so many other places especially in the hawker centres that do it well... it's not usually THAT expensive, and we either use Sri Lankan crabs or mud crabs....paying for a Canadian crab is just ridiculous

have your crabs at any coffee shops TJ，the crabs are alive before they are being cooked, $120 can get you probably about three crabs ， a bit smaller than the one you had though... the best crabs to have is about 500g... big doesn’t mean it will be good to eat.

Crab is like a luxury here. As a singaporean I would still pay the premium and eat it in a seafood restaurant because there is really a difference in quality. I mean if you’re gonna treat yourself, might as well do it right? 😂

sambal stingray am i spelling that right? and yes the first time i ate stingray is the sambal stingray and i fell in love with it and i ate it when i was a kid . is it hot yes but also not it different recipe some are just pure spicy some are sweet some are just balance .
