Many ask what the purpose of a resole or rebuild might be. To that question there are quite a few answers. The most beneficial to our customers seems to be 'cost'. Coming in at well under half the price of buying a new pair, resole's bring back the tread to a well worn pair of boots, adding years of life to the boots, for a fraction of the cost. Keeping that well worn fit is important to those who despise the break in phase. By keeping the insole of the boot attached, the imprints of your feet are preserved until its time to do a rebuild. Reducing break in times to zero. Sustainability is also important us! Saving materials that still have life in them is a great way to reduce waste, and to keep the perfect uppers for 10 + years. You should send the corks in a bag. Now that cermec aren't available, we take them out & harden them at home before putting them in.
The newer ones only last 1/3 as long.
Harden them with used motor oil?
@@mr.monitor. no, an Amish guy puts them under a blow torch and drops them in water
@johnvelas70 cool. If you drop them in used engine oil, it will harden them further.

Where or on what type of job are these boots used on or for?
People who climb trees. This helps them by fixating the boots on the trees
@@papayafigureno they aren't. Spurs are for climbing trees, corks are to help fallers and chokermen get traction on wet fallen timber.
For climbing cork trees. Thata why they call them corks😅 jk idk why they just do.
