Just if they made the Krypt hearts not expire, it would be much better. I don't have the time to put into the Krypt for 14,000 hearts in a week
As long as the heart expire it makes them more valuable to buy guaranteed brutality gear and guaranteed diamond since they aren't inflated(inflation) hence less hearts available in cycle the more the valuable they are
This mode is already too good and too rewarding.
You should be able to carry over a small fraction on hearts, like 5-10%
@@al3xander353 That's why there are keys. You play one Elder run, you get 2300 hearts on average. For each 2000 hearts you are getting 1 key. For example, I already bought the Boots and Lizard Jade in this season. Everything else I am farming will turn into keys.

Krypt is cool game mode but for me towers are way too much fun because of its unpredictable rewards and also insane tough battles which when we clear gives insane satisfaction, I agree with you star 💯 ❤
In my opinion it's really good that they started adding tower gear in the krypt store
You're right, the krypt is a great concept executed horrendously wrong, because it doesn't respect the players time and patience, but I don't think turning it into towers is the best option.
Each floor needs to take 10 min in average, not 20. For the krypt gear they can make you get bonus hearts, like +50% for maxed epics and +25% for maxed rares.
Those 2 changes will make the krypt 100 times better, and if they remove that awful thing of deleting your hearts each week, square it.
I think one thing to improve the krypt more is to have a refresh system in the krypt store. Having refresh can give a range of choices to the old players.
You could earn refresh Tokens from fighting boss battles. Making the battles more interesting.
They already gave damage and life stones to make it shorter.
The problem is, it destroyed our life. Playing 3 hours per day is too much. They have to let us to keep the hearts after each season.

No ; the hearts turn into keys @ 2,000 which in turn gives you more chances to play …… playing the game and sometimes getting what you want & other times not is part of it

They need to reduce the battles in Kryp because it has a lot of battles and need to spend a lot of time to finish

Thing is krypt is the only mode that can currently keep the game alive
I think the Krypt is great for more seasoned players but maybe not so much for beginners or intermediates.
Playing for some years now I have a lot of the old characters and some of the new ones maxed. So in towers I get to resell the majority of character rewards. That's very annoying -- all of the grind for some 96 souls... And since in newer towers the drop rates of rare equipment got better, I also got rare sets maxed for some of theses towers. I don't even play the normal modes of these towers any more. For now I only still do fatal towers as the epic equipment is still worth it until I got a good portion of it maxed too.
But in Krypt I can pick the character or piece of equipment I want or need and don't grind for a big fat nothing. I know what I'm up for and I like that. I usually do hard runs and can often come up with teams that do it on auto and an occasional health stone (Maybe go for a lower bonus factor, if you don't have the characters giving high bonus at a high fusion or if they aren't good -- better have a team where you can easily farm something with.). So it's not that much more than doing 60 tower runs a day (if two are active) or even on par. And both tower repeats as well a Krypt is equally repetitive and therefore equally as boring or exciting to me. The Krypt is very efficient in my opinion to complete one's collection.
I can understand that Krypt can be overwhelming for new and intermediate players though. It's a different feeling when the Krypt store is full and you could use most the stuff than when there are only one or two eligible characters and pieces of equipment and most of them are more nice to have than game changing for your account. So I can see how the Krypt can make a lot of people feel more like missing out and frustrate them more than towers do.
But yeah, I'd too like to see the possibility to save the hearts. That would also make this game mode vastly more attractive for beginners. And yes, it's harder to make well clicked CZcams videos about the Krypt. Unlike in towers not everybody is facing the same difficult battles. So people might not be that interested in seeing how others beat a battle in the hopes of help.
As far i can say, there is something wrong with the Krypt we hardly can explain (Starinsky included).
It was my argument on which Starinsky in this video answered, that: (more than 200) tower fights also are very time consuming, and there is even a probability that the player doesnt get a satisfying reward - while in krypt: the player knows for what he spends his hours.
But Starinsky isnt wrong either. We are both wrong and right at the same time, i think.
There is something with the krypt, which just feel: ''life-consuming'' . Starinsky found a good word for that feeling. Its a bad feeling - and the reward in the end doesnt feel satisfying, but more like ''finally... and now i never want to play krypt again''.
Starinsky made some good ideas how to improve krypt (espescially with some auto-mode ideas). But there needs to be done more, i think. Unfortunately i also dont know what exactly.
They somehow should mix some tower-mode-fun into the krypt - and vice versa: some krypt-fun into the towers (for instance: let the player choose from a specific set the reward after beating battle 200). For instance for the krypt, Starinsky also said the "tower"-idea: that there could be krypt-gear which increases the stats (i dont mean that health-increase-potions or strength-potions).
I think a big difference between krypt and towers are the expire-rates. While krypt expires in one week, towers expire in a month or more. That feels like the player really has to spend a lot of hours on that mobile game every day, just to get his reward he wants. While the towers only need around 1 hour each day. Thats a time-factor of around 4-6 (depending how much rewards a player wants from the krypt). 4-5 hours of playing the krypt each day , while playing the tower (1 hour), playing faction wars occasionally, setting up the quests each hour , playing challenge mode (for souls or character), turns the game into a job, and not into fun. If the game would have more replay-value (like strategy-games - or building-games, like minecraft etc) , playing more hours a day wouldnt feel that much of a pain. But tapping the screen all the time - with the same fights over and over again, has much less replay-value. And that can only be faced by: less hours to spend with the game each day - because the game is mainly a ''collecting''-game (cards and gears) that all about it - and there is only a limited ''willingness'' to spend time, to satisfy those ''collecting-urges'' ... If it goes beyond that ''frontier'', people just feel suffering playing the game.
Thats why it needs more ''replay-value'' ...
For instance: building multiplayer-capabilities. For instance: players who can grind the krypt for friends, beating their hard battles with the own team... or fighting together against opponents (two characters of the friend , he plays... and two characters of me which i play... four vs four battles (two plus two human players, against four AI-opponents) , etc... Something which makes that game-mode just more vivid (then the hours of playing the krypt wouldnt feel that much suffering) and increases the replay-value. Not this feeling of : hours of tapping the screen with the same battles.. each day... forced for a week.
One thing is for sure, and i also agree with Starinsky on that part: Netherrealm did a good job, by implementing a new game mode, which has a total different approach to get rewards. They put efford in it - and thats the first sign of caring towards the player-base after a long long time. So that mentality definetely can safe Mortal Kombat Mobile! Thats a very good step in the right direction!
Personally, I disagree with Star, the krypt is a game mode that is better than towers. The rewards at the end are rng, meaning that there is a chance that you will never get the character or item you want. For example, I wanted Reptiles brutality piece in sorcerers fatal, I played through the max limit, and I never got it unlike the krypt where we can purchase tower gear that we may never get in the towers themselves. Another example, Raiden's brutality piece, I never get in anytime nightmare tower is on but when It was in the krypt I get it. Another advantage that the krypt has over towers is that you can get p2p golds. The unpredictable rewards are in the krypt, you just have the worst luck star, and no unpredictable rewards are not fun, that's just a greedy Strat that developers use to get more money out of the player base. The only thing wrong with the krypt is that it's very slow.

Ok, I have to disagree with towers being more exciting because it's random card vs Krypy having a guaranteed card because I don't trust Random in games but except that I agree with everything else
I agree with you, EarthrealmWarrior. The diamonds are guaranteed in the store. And what if you have a maxed out account? The random diamonds that drop from towers will be a bummer. So this is what I like about Krypts. Getting the diamonds you need.

@@YuriChan4215 I also have to agree. My account is nearly maxed out, and the towers lose their attraction for me - because almost every diamond i get after a week of grinding the tower, is a resell. While if i play the krypt for a week, at least i get what i want.
I still understand Starinskys point... because i have to admit: i feel much more exhausted after one week of playing the krypt, versus one week of playing the towers.
So there is definetely something wrong with the krypts. It needs a bit of polishing i think. Starinsky made some suggestions. Also i made suggestions in the comment section (my comment on his video).
Krypt can definetely made better, without throwing diamonds to the player for less efford. Its not about the efford. Its about: how suffering that efford feels. Other games i can play for hours each day - putting efford in it, and it doesnt feel as much suffering as the krypt. Therefore: not the efford is the problem - the problem is how to improve the gaming experience of that efford. And me, and Starinsky brought up some idea for the krypt.

I don't give a F about it being boring. You can grind a get any diamond YOU WANT goddamit 😂😂 far better then doing 200 battles and get a random card. Cmon guys.
You have to remember that most people playing any game will be casual. Having fun matters more to them. Also, you can auto most of the tower. I can auto the tower on auto while I workout, work, house chores or anything else. The Kyrpt requires attention. If you like playing other games like me (console or PC) this becomes a burden. Not everyone wants to no life this game. I have a pretty good job and the time per hour greatly exceeds the cost of me just buying 2 diamonds per week. Not saying I will buy 2 diamonds per week. Just pointing out the math of the grind.
The battles in the krypt aren't that random. There are mostly mk11 teams with Jade in the elder run
Nobody plays in auto mode. It's the worst option in the game. Crypt is amazing even in rewards. Survivor 👎 you can use attack boost and health boost cards in crypt to make it easier you should use them (large force stone). I need 1 hour to complete 4 floors in Elder crypt . Also the quan chi brutality set is insane 😍
Totally disagree with you there all I use is auto battle so much easier have the right the team and equipment setup Increase the boost of health and damage and let them fight away, since it’s been on I have never played it manually, you just got to know what your doin and how to play the game properly.
i love the krypt cuz i know exactly what im grinding for. it has its own flavor even if it feels like a chore. i love both krypt and towers.
I think they should make the krypt gear player exclusive, and also that it gives a boost in stats in krypt, but maybe half of the regular tower bonus so it's not that big of an advantage, while also giving an advantage, and being somewhat different to the regular towers' mechanic
Also there should be rewards for beating the fights, maybe just increasing the general hearts rewards would be great; that way people would have to grind less and if fights gave more hearts based on the difficulty of the skull, which at the time is 5 max if I'm not mistaken, then fights wouln't be as tedious with the incentive of a more rewarding reward; actually maybe we should even be allowed to take paths that have no fights until the boss, but have the fights be rewarding, so you can fight or not and have different "playstyles" in the krypt
And lastly, the bosses shouldn't be MK11, I mean at all; that way you could use DoT based teams without worrying about healing the bosses, and also having everything difficult be MK11 team in the game (I mean the hardest tower battles are usually MK11, the most annoying boss battles are usually MK11, the most annoying teams to encounter in faction wars are usually MK11, and now the only boss teams in Krypt are MK11) is really tiring
Like anything else in this game. FIX THE CRASHES!! Terminator causes a lot of them. Krypt Mode is a good addition to the game. Sure it’s a little annoying how long it takes to grind 4 Floors. But they offer a lot for all players.they should replenish any Consumables that have to be used to Revive the characters. Not just a KEY (if they even give one). Most times they give you nothing.
Agreed 100%! It's just not fun. It is pretty cool to have the option to get specific diamonds, but the gameplay in mind-numbingly boring. I hope they fix it in the future because it's a great concept but poorly executed.
Towers for me is a lot better. Whilst it is luck based, it's always rewarding with something. Coins, I can always use for something. Souls I can buy stuff. I can get gears. Even resells offer something. But here it's just grind for one main currency.
Also the hearts are so God damn low. If I fully complete everything on Elder with MAX points, I get 2,000 hearts. If I want the best diamond option, I need to grind Elder 7 times just to get them. And my runs can go for over an hour depending on what class the bonus is on. Maybe 2. And if I die, I have to waste time and resources reviving.
I was tempted to grind for Klassic rain but it was too much. I ended up beating Fatal 200 and got him anyway.
And what hearts I do get, they refresh. And now, the store is changing weekly. So you're mostly just getting 1 promotion. And those gears aren't in the Krypt. So you're not really going to max them. Nor can you go "ok, I'll focus on the gear this week and grind for a character next week".
It's just boring and tedious. The survivor aspect is more frustrating. Especially when I'm having to learn characters I don't use and the ai goes "ha I'm going to throw a random special or hit you mid combo". It's just not fun. I'd rather just grind towers. I'm getting more for my time.
I agree the krypt is boring and to much time. The krypt in older mortal Kombat games was picking a random reward for coins. Why couldn't we just spend coins to open a random reward like the old days. Krypt is much better than tower,i mean normal tower. From normal tower you can get a resell after 200 battles,but from Krypt you can get a good diamond. Krypt is the best in my opinion.

100% agreed. Crypt can be made better with limited battle and giving it theme and gear bonus like towers. + heart should not expire or crypt season should be long like 1 or 2 months.
I only play the hard mode most of the time and even that takes a long time. I hope they offer fight skips. I'm willing to pay $10 for 200 fight skips! Of course we shouldn't be able to skip boss battles.
Edit: I agree with Star the equipment should have a boost of some sort for the Krypt.
I think it would get better if instead of having to do paths it’s 1 strait line that depending on the difficulty is how long it is/ how many rewards or hearts and at the end it leads to a boss battle that drops either 1. Krypt gear 2. 400 hearts or 3. Gold or Diamond character card( 20% chance diamond. 40% pay to win gold 40% challenge gold) and you can forfeit without loosing hearts but if you loose you loose 10% of collected hearts from run
They need to remove the fog in the krypt. Its frustrating playing a battle and all it leads to is a chest with 1 konsumable in it. I have hundreds already i just want to get the tombstones for hearts. But i do like getting diamonds and tower gear from the krypt store
Its hard to say if i like or not i mean its long as hell thats true but sometimes there is amazing stuff. Like rain or this week double Tower gear. Epic for sindel and rare for kabal + lizard jade in shop so this time i cant say anything bad this run :D i love this one
All these for 14000 hearts? After "grinding like a mad man", all for these? Imagine me playing the krypt with my 120 days old account. Star, I really appreciate all the points you deduced from the krypt. Its so ridiculous. I lost my first account and I'm now with a new account and the account is just 120 days old. How do they expect me to grind so fast? And my gears are not even on average. My highest block breaker gear is in f5. So you should see how its so much hard for people like me. I'm a tower boy too. Even with my 120 days old account, i still beat sorcerer tower normal twice and on the third run. I'll stick to my diamond reward on battle 200. Thanks
If you want to krypt battle not boring for you, set brutality gear on your team and take down every your oponnet with brutality.
Elder definitely drops gear at a higher rate. In my opinion....

Imagine you grin krypt for hours every day and on last day you get so busy you cannot open the game and still haven’t used hearts , you get nothing for grinding it for 6 days.
Therefore hearts should be carried over its not like we can buy same character again and again then whats the point of converting heart into keys. We can only buy character once.

Contact support there is a 0.0001 percent chance you'll get assistance, same odds as dropping a Ronin Kitana. Besides they need to know how full of §#!T they are.
You should at least try to contact support and see if they can bring your WBPlay account back. Hopefully you’ll get to play MK Mobile with all your original progress again! 😢

Tower over Krypt eeeaaasy!! you lose a battle in tower you get a reward!!! and those rewards can be really great pulls, epic gear even!! Krypt is good yes, but towers are way better.
I have all 4 Krypt pieces maxed out. And yes, I grinded a lot for it. 5 runs are not enough, sometimes I got 10-12 runs in a row without a single piece, and sometimes, just like you, 2 epics in one run. I did only Elder runs.
Props to star for grinding everyday for us❤ but I agree krypt is very very boring and it’s like a job you have to do or your whole week of grind is gone.

u have to admit crypts is just a net positive for players you can ignore it or u can grind it and it gives u a way to get diamonds reliably as a f2p

Krypt gets super boring. I can grind for a day or two but then I have to take a break from it. The fact that hearts go away every week makes me avoid it.
So I will admit. The Krypt can feel like a chore. Yet I found a way that you can bypass the time.
Play it while doing something else like watching Netflix, playing a console game etc. I've noticed that helped me bypass the time. Especially if there are cards I really want from the store.
if you lose a character u need to spend souls for a revive stone if u dont have some so nah id rather play and grind even if it feels like a chore😭
The equipment drop is randament,I only do normal and hard challenges and I already have some of them at 6 or 7 fusion!!😮😮😮

it should be an option to toggle on and off, for example if its toggled on it should collect them automatically if its toggled off you can collect them Manually, but the free chests and gravestones should always be collected automatically.

Secondly the heart it tells you that it’s going to give you eat sometimes you do not get the minimal hearts I had three runs an elder where I was supposed to get a minimal of 2000 hearts after three runs I was less than 100 short of 6000 so I have to go in there a fourth time just to get that tower piece and that’s only thing I actually do like is you can get to our pieces instead of waiting for the towers to reappear that’s probably the only good thing about it

I honestly prefer krypt 1st of course for guaranteed diamond and 2nd i hate tower now as when yo u have most diamonds maxed n need only handful to fuse mostly likely it's certain that you are gonna get a resell, it's not the same in krypt. For krypt battles they are handful of battles which are different every single time but for towers one you complete towers the battles and characters are the same no changes but krypt gives us to fight different characters with different set up unlike towers where once u complete the towers the battles remain same just become little easier thanks to epic drop, n the main thing krypt would need is collect all option either when we complete the specific floor or the entire krypt run, so that we can collect all chests and tombs for hearts
nah the time we have to spend in krypt is just painfull i just quit the game yesterday im done, no a single excited mode since towers the only thing we do is just collecting cards we never gonna use what is the point
Towers are better
As far as the fun level is concerned, towers are more fun (new towers are challenging and fun; old towers with gear aren't nearly as fun, but you do get that great disappointment/accomplishment when a good character is dropped).
I have been playing the Krypt everyday and it is a long, long grind. I don't think it is sustainable - the grind is just too long. They should allow us to save the hearts so we can grind just a little and wait for a character we want and buy...
I only do it for the tower gear now:)
Exactly points i gave when krypt was released
For me, Krypt Mode > Tower Mode. I can easily auto every Krypt battle and it's only two hours for two elder runs. Knowing exactly what you're grinding for is better than doing 200 tower runs just to get a resell. I understand that for beginners towers are probably better and easier, just not for me.
It seems that it doesn't take 5k hearts to get 1 key on the weekly refresh, but around 2k. I know because I had 4 keys before the latest refresh and I had 7k hearts. After the refresh I had 7 keys.
UHM Ok but some of us are working class heroes, we have jobs and we cunt spend the whole day grinding, and grinding.... OOH fmr! maybe some cuntrys this is how they work to build and support the economy!

Bro fr , krypt's only downside atm (i know this is an old video) is the collecting nodes thing , like as u said ( put an option in the setting that makes u auto collect if u have enough gold just by passing on the node) other than that , krypt is a very helpful f2p mode

I would suggest naming the krypts seasons. So u introduce new gear every update and it gives stats boost for that specific krypt season name. That way u can add more krypt gear and not make it so that all the old krypt still gives stats boost in the new gear's era a year later when the old gear was first released.
