I like how the gold trim is thin enough to see the wood grain through it. I was surprised you didn't white coat it 1st since metallic paint is always water thin but it turned out really nice

Is also good to experiment with these on different surfaces such as plates and dishes from the opp shop or a papier-mâché skull from the craft store.

Congrats on the new Flexispot desk too! I like the top that you chose. I have a few desks from them, they’re pretty nice. It’s kind of funny, my cat Marty doesn’t exactly get that when the desk is raised he can’t quite make the jump 😹
I wasn't expecting to see cats. That was such a pleasant surprise. ❤🐱
One thing that can really help is making sure you coat the wood first with some kind of laquer and sand it a bit cause it doesn't soak as much paint AND it doesn't rip up the posca pens.

Excellent job that turned out great!!!🐱 I just ordered some extra fine tip Posca markers because I needed to paint my hot wheels cars headlights and tail lights. They’re really small, but I didn’t want to get the ultra fine for whatever reason. 🚗

You reckon some varnish is needed to preserve the artwork? Does the paint wear off?
You can get an extra mile out of the posca markers by adding a few drops of water into an empty marker and you'll get more paint again.
I have been looking for a good tiny detail brush. The ones I've found are either to thick or too flimsy. What kind is that one you are using here?

I've never used posca pens before. So I don't know how much paint is in them. I've been thinking about buying some. But it didn't seem like there is that much paint in them from that first apricot pen you used on the cat. Was that the first time you used it? And it wasn't even enough to do one cat? Or had you used it a lot before? If that is as much paint as is in those posca, I don't think they are worth the price. What are your thoughts on it?
