To make this for yourself you will need:
    ♡ 200g/7oz/1 cup milk chocolate
    ♡ ½ boxes of Mikados
♡ Gold and silver edible spray paint
    ♡ Gold edible paint
    ♡ Popping candy
    ♡ Black fondant icing
    ♡ Strawberry laces
    Equipment you will need:
    ♡ Piping bags
    ♡ Hair dryer
    ♡ Baking paper
    ♡ Cake decorating tools
    ♡ Cake decorating paint brush
    Method:
    1. Place your Mikados next to one another to form a wand shape. Then stick the mikados to the baking paper using a little melted chocolate so they don’t move when you use the hair dryer. Gentally melt the chocolate on the mikados; this only takes a few seconds. Then use a piping bag to drizzle over melted chocolate to give a nice texture. Whilst the chocolate is still melted sprinkle over a little popping candy.
    2. To make the elder wand, you’ll need to create a thin wand with just 1 Mikado thickness. Then use little balls of fondant icing to create the ridges. Then use a cake decorating tool to make some holes in the fondant to give texture; you could also use a fork or something like that.
    3. To create Hermione’s wand, melt the chocolate on a single Mikado and then wrap around a strawberry lace and place down on a sheet of baking paper. Then attach more Mikados to the length to make a full size wand. Leave to set completely.
    4. Once all the wands are set, you can use the spray paint. The elder wand has a thin coating of silver, Ron’s wand has a gold handle, Harry’s has a silver handle and Hermione’s wand also has a thin coating of gold all over. Lastly paint the strawberry lace on Hermione’s wand with edible gold paint. Leave to dry completely.
