In my Asian server games, bulldogs and guardians are actually quite common(diamond elo). They are usually bought as bonus guns or to buy together with richer teammates using vandals/phantoms
The bulldog is one of the best guns for stalling money. If you buy 2 ablilities,light sheilds and a bulldog, you will continuously gain money from loosing rounds, and get 400+ money for a win round
Bulldog as a force buy on second that can still go against rifles in the third is always the play for me, one tap to the head if the enemy full saved, one to the body and head if they didn’t, and no damage drop off, bulldog is an underrated gun
I actually use the bulldog and guardian pretty often cause its very fun, but I haven’t used an odin since I started playing due to a promise I made with myself
In the past 3-4 months I have juggled b/w bronze silver gold and plat, and I can assure you both of them are highly used especially guardian.
Particularly in breeze and ascent, all long distance fights in mid of the map favour guardian more so than even vandal that is until the opper makes his presence known

Honestly if I win a pistol round, the next round I will buy Bulldog instead of Spectre for the anti-eco. The reason is because Bulldog can still be competitive with other rifles like Vandal and Phantom from close or long range for the next bonus round to ensure even if we lost that round, i could steal some kills and destroy their economy after a full buy round.
its because you always save to the point where you can buy a vandal. the only time you buy a bulldog is when ur forcing 2nd round or not enough money for a vandal on last round

Guardian is amazing on only a few maps, mainly Haven and Ascent. especially with Sova, incase you didnt know you can wallbang the bricks on market to site.
Really only half the guns are dependent on the map
I feel I see a guardian at least 2 times every game whenever someone can barely not full buy. I see bull dog second round in breeze, ascent, and icebox, whenever people want a longer range weapon.
Problem with those guns is that they are not economically smart to buy. Like you'll be stuck with using bulldog for a few rounds if you buy it after round 2, while the enemy using vandals.
Bulldog and guardian are what i buy if i cant afford a phantom or vandal it always is and it always will be because theyre both cracked
There's a great reason as to why guardian isnt used by everyone, not everyone is Fishychair
Bulldogs are literally meta in bonus. Also guardian and bulldog are used pretty often in my matches
Bulldog 2nd round when you win either have half armor or full armor, so if you when the 2nd round you get to have a long range chance against the enemies buy round

On large maps like breeze, after you win the pistol, it's so much better to just go for the guardian and bulldog. I always go full Armor+guard or bulldog and the rest is util. Spectres are just terrible and you're better off using a sheriff. Unless you plan to hold an angle like a rat then go ahead with the spectre.
I do that in deathmatch so that I can pretty much guarantee a kill if I find an unusual gun in eco rounds it could be sheriff or even bucky

Ive seen so many bulldogs and guardians in my last games but the gun that i see only in 1 out of 50 games is the stinger.
I regularly use the bulldog. Its pretty cheap and sometimes, i have games where i'm better with the bulldog than with any of the other rifles
honestly i use bulldogs when i can afford it after pistol round and i buy guardian when im on eco sometimes , i just dont use the stinger
I use most guns except snipers quite regularly, i only play op when im saving them for a dead teammate, and can still do decent anyway

Bulldog is a better round 2 option than spectre if you can aim bc you have a much bigger range advantage and can actually challenge marshalls, sheriffs. Guardian is what you buy when the rest of your team can only buy for one more round before you have to save and you cant afford a rifle...
Both of these happen frequently at all levels, if you actually pay attention, unlike this guy, apparently

Bulldog is pretty insane for 2nd round buy if you win the pistol round. Easy to eco frag and pretty decent vs the 3rd round rifles of the enemy team
I’m actually pretty new to Valorant and FPS in general and I mainly use the guardian. Other guns like Vandal and Phantom just have too much spray for me to control at the moment. I feel like I practice being more precise with my shots w/ the guardian. Plus, each hit hits harder if I’m not mistaken.
If this is a bad take/idea, my bad, but for now I trust my guardian 😁😅

I use Guardian or Bulldog when i think its too risky to pick Vandal or Phantom in the round because if you lose the round you'll lose alot of credit so i pick Guardian or Bulldog pick Vandal or Phantom in the ground to save credit both guns are strong if you use them right.
Bulldog and Guardian are my 1st to master guns, pretty cheap and can 1 hit with good burst/placing of crosshair, if vandal can 1 hit, guardian can too with lower price.

Imo the Vandal and Phantom are too good for any of the alternatives to be viable often. Bulldog is a Vandal with the damage of an Ares(2-3 headshots to kill). WHICH WAS EVEN WORSE BEFORE due to the recoil being even worse than the Vandal. Guardian is just a matter of fire rate, semi auto requires A LOT more skill than full auto or burst firing. Honestly Bulldog and other weapons need more of an incentive to be used more. They don’t excel at anything(ok Guardian at distance but with the Vandal being so accurate even on hipfire it’s not even worth not spending the extra 700 when one or two eco rounds can save enough for a full buy. Either the top guns need a price increase or the lower end guns need to have more features that make them appealing. Like the Marshal is amazing but only on the hands of skilled people, good on long range and decent in CQC, 2 body shot kill and great for tagging people. We need MORE like the Marshal. Value for the money.

I like the BD, but it’s just so inadequate compared to our rifles. Good for eco, but outside of that you either use pistols, force or full and BD ain’t in any of that.
Reducing the cost could be could, but then it would be way to strong.

Bulldogs and Guardians plague Diamond and Ascendant Lobbies dude. They aren't rampant like Vandal and Phabtom, but from what I've seen, they are bought more often that The Operator. Since the Op is so much money it makes sense, but I see atleast 4-5 Guardians a Game and around 6 Bulldogs a game. Usually when you are just a little bit short of buying Full Shield Vandal or Full Shield Phantom. Bulldog just feels like a Spectre that has worse run and gun. And the Guardian feels like a Single Tap Vandal. You see us win round 1, we on 1 Guardian, 1 Phantom and 2 Bulldogs immediately. It makes Around 2 easier to win, and it carries into round 3 better than 4 spectres. And if you still lose the round 3, you almost always have enough for Round 4 Vandals anyways. So there's no harm. Should you go an entire Team of Bulldogs? No, just save for the next round. But 1 or 2 is fine if you don't quite have the money.
The guardian does a lot of damage no matter the distance so I use it to do one tap long distance
