A three-time Purple Heart awarded WWII veteran, Curly Bunfill has lived and continues to live life to the fullest. A classic '56 Cadillac that was given to him by Hollywood icon Rita Hayworth that he has been offered $500, 000 for was stolen and later returned. Bunfill, a former Hollywood stunt driver, said a film director invited him to Hayworth's party in Beverly Hills. Here he reflects on how he met Rita and why that Cadillac is so important to the Sacramento community.

Wow, He is very sharp and all together for 106 years old.
He looks great at 106! There are people in their 70’s and 80’s that don’t look that good! Great memory, too! I could listen to him talk all day. He has good, common sense. Love the story about Rita Hayworth. Beautiful lady with a big heart. Wish her husbands had treated her better.
This man is so precious! I would love to sit and talk to him for days. If people will listen to older people like this we would learn so many things.
So good to see this wonderful man. I miss seeing the greatest generation in my day to day life. They had so much.character, integrity and common sense.💜
Reminds me of my Dad - honest, kind, no hatred for anyone, and the kind of person you can rely and trust to the end of your days. Men like this took their word seriously and would not betray it or go back on their word,, once given. All our younger generations could learn a lot from this man and the “Greatest Generation that Ever Lived”. Real Americans, not this bologna liberal “globalism” that is sweeping the country with entitlement without responsibility. God save and bless America.
