Literally just bought the bauer brushless today with a set of Hercules impact rated socket adapters. Tested it immediately on the lugs of my AWD SUV torqued to 150ft/lb and it ripped em right off! Well worth the 49 bucks plus I already have the 1/2 Bauer impact and 5ah battery so all set there. Win win

@@dailydoseoftoolreviews the bauer 1/2 impact wrench outperforms the Hercules brushless model also according to Torque test channel. It's no powerhouse but it hits 300ft/lbs of breakaway which is plenty for most medium sized jobs

I hear this a lot. Why are so many people using a 1/4" impact driver for an impact wrench? What size is the typical torque wrench? In foot pounds it is always 1/2". In inch pounds it is 3/8". Why are there so many people using a tool designed to do carpenter work suddenly used for auto repair. Is it really about saving money. I own a 1/4" brushless impact driver. I use it in all the places that it was designed for. Driving screws, lag bolts, and tightening bolts with nuts on decking posts where a lag bolt is not sufficient. Your telling me that a DYI guy can't afford to buy a 1/2" impact wrench? It's cheaper to buy the tool and Do It Yourself than to pay the man to do it for you, right? I bought a brushless Cobalt for $89 on sale. It can bust loose the lugs on my 3/4 ton pickup truck. But look. What is it so necessary to step away from air tools? Don't like them, why?

I pulled out my stop watch and timed the lag screws going into the 4x4 and after watching the video about 10 times, and timing each one over and over again, I can tell you without a doubt that the Bauer pulled out the win every time. The last one was Bauer 21.49 seconds and Milwaukee 23.13 seconds. The main upper hand Milwaukee would have is their 12ah batteries, but now that Herculees has a brushless line with a 12ah battery option, and the same warranty as Milwaukee, I think the Herculees would not only be even a better Harbor Freight competior to Milwaukee than the Bauer, but I think it would whoop the ol' Mil even more than the Bauer did. Thats an idea for another video that I would like to see.
