Generating electricity? Playing around with the old Maytag 72

Seeing if we can make some electricity with an old Maytag engine.

Later a couple of the neighbor kids stopped by. With their help we were able to fire it back up, increase the rpms to get the voltage up to 120v DC, then run a 110v corded drill on the output. Definitely need to do some more playing with this setup!
