Been about 15 times, fav place is Kai Bae beach, it’s quite small but has everything you need, Kai Bae beach resort is really good especially if you get somewhere right on the beach, books up quickly though, Garden resort is about in the middle really nice, good prices and the guy who owns it “Mouse” is great.

Best time to go is end of Nov to April, after that it gets progressively wetter but still boiling hot and low season
Yeah next time we'll go then and stay around white sand beach, I think we would have loved it if we did that the first time
Airport to Koh Chang bus station at White Sand Beach 660 baht. Walk to MANY hotels. Why book, it's Thailand. Give your passport away? Rookie traveller? Get a feel of the place before you bike around. RAINY SEASON, DUH? GO OUT. ENJOY IT. IT'S 35°C. 25 years going there, I hope for 25 more.💫🏝 That's ferry included in the bus ride.

Bad tire scam is universal across the planet. I had this scam from avis in Costa Rica.

What period did you go to? we can only go in May next year. Earlier or later is not possible because we are bound to our work.

We were there in July , terrible weather but maybe that was just bad luck best to visit this island in high season
Gotta check the bike/rental. And taking pics is always advisable before you accept the thing and drive away. OH well, live and learn.

Why riide a bike for the first time in the rain in Thailand ? It looks like you are riding on the right side of the road . Is that true ?
riding on the left, video is a mirror image, it rained the whole time so had no choice if I was going to have any fun

we knew it was low season, the weather we experienced was rare even for the rainy season

We travelled for 6 months straight on limited funds, we had an ac room with a pool, you think that's what bums do ? sounds like you're just a hater
