- Duran Duran live on The Tube as broadcast April 24th 1987, this was the last ever episode of The Tube. On this day I had just gotten a brand new Ferguson VHS VCR with HiFi sound, though this broadcast was mono. I recorded the full show, complete with commercials, I have many full episodes of this show on Betamax.

I remember when they advertised in Melody Maker for a guitarist after Andy left, I wanted to apply but had very little confidence back then.Warren Cuccurullo got the gig who was well know as a member of Frank Zappa's band and Missing Person. It’s a shame they didn’t engage a British guitarist.
