P.s.: unfortunately, here in Brazil, medical students are elitists, usually children of doctors or coming from the upper middle class, and are not willing to work in poorer and more isolated areas. We have many selfless doctors who dedicate themselves to patients regardless of the social situation but they are not enough

Yeah, I agree and I'm glad you brought up the point, Cuba is one of the few countries on Earth where there's a surplus of doctors. Cuba is an embodiment of a middle finger to anyone who claimed that "if other jobs get paid more than doctors, then nobody will want to become a doctor." Same goes with the USSR where wage gap between lowest-paying and highest-paying jobs are so small that people don't have to force themselves to pursue higher-paying jobs that they don't like.
What makes me hesitant to become a doctor is the amount of schooling I would have to do, I wouldn't mind getting an average or even lower average salary if I can help people.
Yeah it would only keep the people from doing it, who would want to do it for very shallow reasons. Imagine the horror if medical and lawyers schools wouldn't be filled with elitisit pricks from mostly wealthy backgrounds and sociopathic social climbers but people who are genunely interested in helping society in that way.

I live in Ireland and it’s even too hot here (though that’s probably because we have some of the highest humidity in the world, never really going below 80%). We also don’t have AC so there’s that. I don’t mind the rain here though. My ideal climate would probably be Edinburgh or Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Once one of their clips got into my feed and it was about the stagnant wages, at first they acknowledged that the current wages maybe even worse than in the 70s due to inflations but what do you think their fix are? Weird how so many Cubans want to be doctors instead of taxi drivers when taxi drivers supposedly make so much more money from tips. It's almost as if people want to have a job that gives them a sense of purpose and accomplishment that is also socially prestigious rather than just following the profit motive.
Also when peoples basic needs are met they are more likely to take jobs that require a huge time investment, like getting a medical degree, and more likely to persue a job that contributes to the common good and gives them a sense of purpose.

You should see their Father's Day special, The Tuttle Twins completely screwed the pooch with their message. They say "Fatherlessness is a pandemic", even though they and Cartoon Ben Carson says, "Anyone can be a father figure." Yet, the very next place they go to is a rip-off of Peter Pan, which is a callback to their badly performed, Peter Pan play from the beginning. The only kid that is even a good, no competent actor is Bruce. The show just goes out of it's way to show how much of a shitty parent, Bruce's mom is. I mean, he had a seat reserved for her, yet she doesn't even show her face until like the end of the episode. And, boy, oh boy, Bruce's mom looks nothing like him, she's just the reused janitor lady from the episode where the Twins and Gabby visit George Washington in his painting and conflate everything with nazism. I think I am being unfair to that episode, but I really, don't want to go back and watch it, because well, I'm tired, just ate and took some of meds.
The Fatherhood episode, back to the badly punned, "Never-Dad-Land"; the twins pretty much guilt all of the "Lost Dads" and Peter Pan into going back to their families because well, if they don't, then they are nothing but a bunch of a deadbeats. Even though there are some pretty understandable reasons why the dads don't involve themselves with their families like one of them, the African American dad in the skunk costume or whatever, he is afraid to go back to his family because he's afraid that they won't accept him due to him being in jail for a time.
The Tuttle Twins' rhyming moral clicks in and all of the "imbecilic" fathers go back to being with their families, even though their families ain't really comfortable with it. Apparently, to this episode, a deadbeat dad is worst than an absentee father.
Plus, if they are saying that Fatherlessness is a global crisis, then why is it that only Bruce is the only one in the beginning of the episode and apparently only kid in the episode without a dad and being raised by a single mom, who is nothing but a re-used character design and probably misogynistic take on women that do manual labor and/or just work multiple jobs.
At the end of the episode, the Tuttle Twins' awful, sanctimonious father steps in to be a "Father" to Bruce, but that's only seen in this episode. Bruce is probably going back to being the status quo, bully from a single parent household with an overworked parent.
For Christ's sake, Korrine is even a bully, but both of her parents were at the play. They still aren't good parents because of the number of times they've shown themselves to be emotionally abusive and play favorites between Korrine and the family dog.

i think you underestimate how important taxi drivers are to cuban city life. without the taxis, the people who operate the backbone of cuban public transport, the doctors wouldn’t even make it to the hospital to save lives. technically, the taxi drivers ARE important too.
