Mr Maponga Joshua is a vessel full of wisdom,source of motivation.
I'm yet to hear him pray, give glory to God, cast out demons or even hear him articulate who Jesus is. I only ever hear him trying to disavow the identity of Jesus. I hear imply that Jesus the man was black. He may be correct, but what about Jesus the spirit? Who is He to Mapongo?

Jesus performed many visible miracles. This man (for want of a better word) has just discredited and devalued every miracle that Jesus performed. He is saying that children of God should not be interested in miracles, when the word of God says that miracles were appointed for the church. What spirit is he carrying to deceive the people?

@Duduzile Precious, to say "old time religion doesn't work" is another way of saying the scriptures are no longer relevant today. The actual problem is that we have forsaken the old time religion, we have removed the ancient landmark and no longer contending for the faith once delivered to the saints. We now employ human philosophy and worldly wisdom in dealing with issues of life and the faith. Everything was based on God's word in the old time religion. Having risen with Christ, all affections were set on things above and not on things in the earth in the old time religion. They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrines and fellowship in the old time religion. An evil and adulterous generation seek freedom at the expense of truth. Ancient landmarks are removed in the spirit of ecumenism and truth redefined in the new religion. It does not matter whether you are gay or straight in the new religion. There are no moral absolutes in the new religion, everything is negotiable by vision. If God or His word does not change, why should the old time religion change? GIVE ME THAT OLD TIME RELIGION, IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.

I too don't agree with what he said about Old-time religion. I believe the Old-time religion is the true religion and not the modern religion that is tending towards societal trends and current vogue.

We are having these problem becaus ethe hearts of men are wicked. We can have miracles but we do not stay in the word. Sometimes the things men say do not add up the Biblenis what we need and we will always need JEHOVAH'S word to move forward in life. Jesus said priority is His word, not miracles.
When He was about to start His Ministry the devil wanted Him to focus on miracles but Jesus resisted the devil in the 3 temptations after 40 day and 40 nights of fasting. Likewise the focus of every Ministry is to spread the Good News of the Kingdom that has come to us and everything else shall follow.
Receiving Christ is the biggest miracle but miracles like giving site to the blind ,healing the sick etc still exists though some are facking miracles. but the fact still remains Mathew 10.10 Jesus sent them with authority to go preach and heal the sick... so as much as many are faking behind the curtains that doesn't mean we must doubt all miracles let's pray for descenment

Old time religion which is filled with Colorized teachings cannot be of The Most High Yahuah. Old time religion Never taught us the CHOSEN SEED OF ABRAHAM to RE TURN to Yah OUR FATHER (OUR ALUAH). In Rev, we read how only 144k of the chosen people the Jews will go to heaven, but many more who were not born Jewish will get there.

Your redemption is not only about your sins being forgiven, but it came with many more benefits. Do not be deceived by men with earthly intelligence but spiritual bankruptcy.
