@@smurfdaddy420 same input but really fast. PEWGF is just EWGF but you only spend 3 frames doing the input.

And about the reference best i think is a camera after CH df2 you can see how camera zoom in and after zoom out. In than moment this important after zoom oun not in process exactly when out you throw pewgf

Just adding to this real quick. To keep your stream layout unchanged you can go into training from the p1 side then restart on p2 for the suggested format.
Input history will be displayed from the left and Kazuya will be on the right.

Each time i paused the clip for the 3x ewgf combo i got closer and closer to getting it. 20 min without this vid and got it twice. 20 min with and got it about 15 times. Good shiznit Mainman

For noob anything in this game is hard to master. Doing 3x electric into micro dash is piss easy for someone playing this series for few years unless you're a scrub.

I started the game with Kazuya about a year ago, I can't 90% consistently link electrics. Let alone do a microdash after the third one. I'm at Kishin with Kazuya.

@@ant_989 3x electric isn't the hardest part of that combo though, it's df2 into the PEWGF, not even Ryan Hart can pull that out consistently
I think that will be useful to see the input history to get a visual information about the timing as well. Or at least, that's my opinion. For example the microdash df1,4 after the 3 ewgf

Btw a decent combo for EWGF without triple electric is:
EWGF -> EWGF -> microdash 3-1df -> cancel df3-2-charge 1 -> slight deep dash cd44. Does 73 and unlike in previous patches doesn't give negative oki
Can't you just do 3,1 cancel into EWGF for better damage and oki? I think it's should be better, but okay it's not easy to do.
@@SGHNTZ from what I remember any 3 hit ender would whiff after tornado. Too many hits before the extender. Even cd44 can whiff if not close enough
@@tabkg5802 His max hit combo potential is 12 hit, 13 with PEWGF. Without walls and heat of course. And it can include 3,1 EWGF as the ender, just extremely difficult to land, a combo example is EWGF, DEWGF, SSR 1 jab, 2x 3,1 cancel DF1,DF2 into deep 3,1 EWGF, I forgot the dmg. The combo you mentioned is 9 hit, with my ender is 10 hit, so it's should be possible.

Btw you can try WS2 delayed WS3, B2,4 dash DF1,DF2, not optimal, but it's super fun to do. I found out about the combo in the demo.

When micro dash buffering do you look for visual queue on when to press df 1
can you press df 1 on the first available frame or does it need to be 1 frame after the dash starts?
With how strong b2 2 1+2 ender is now, and how much damage immediately bounding with cd1+2 gives, is masku tech going to see less use?

How is 3,1,df1+2 as a combo ender? I leaves you +20 something with around same distance to opp as 3,1,df3. But I think it does a little more dmg

hey im struggling with 3 1 >CD3, f3 or df3 keep coming out even when the input history is perfect input for cd3, is there a micro dash or something im not getting?
For my young kazuya mains: if you have trouble with linking the two electrics you can just swap the second electric with B3 and you get the same damage and can finish the combo with B22, DF12, 3 1 > CD 3

Hey mate, I'm actually doin ewgf, ewgf, ff, 314, ff, df1hold2, ff, b221+2 a lot in recent games, have you tried it out? Super easy and high dmg, at least for me is harder to do 3xewgf into df1 than this long dash into df1, seems like i have more time to do it and connects more (playin on keyboard)
Btw the cd1+2 works also with electric for 78 dmg so if you are not mainman of boa luv of similar, dont worry abot linking 3 electrics

i can't seem to make the new combo from ws2, any tips everyone? the b2,2 1+2 won't connect for some reason (yes im also incorporating a dash but it's always too late or something)
Delay the second 2 a bit
Try to delay the second 2 a little bit and it will always work, now just practice that muscle memory. Also if you dash in really deep you dont need to.

Kaz has a super sick 31 loop combo now with EWGF, EWGF, 31 cancel, 31 cancel, 31~cd1+2! b22,1+2 for 83 damage. He can also do 4x EWGF into df1df2.
The 3x EWGF combo ironically isn't really worth it. Same damage with 1x EWGF ws1+2 instead before b22, df1df2. The damage is definitely worth it if you master the 4x EWGF and 31 loops though so he has a very high combo skill ceilling now 😊
Does anyone find doing the triple electric into micro dash df1df2 infinitely more difficult on the left side than right? Not even the execution of the ewgfs...I feel like I'm doing the same thing on both sides, but I can also be sloppy af on right and still almost connect it(it connects, but combo counter drops) but on left I'll be tight af and doing the deepest deep dash I can on the 3rd electric, trying to perfectly time it as soon as the enemy is about to hit the ground and feel like I'm not even close to connecting the microdash df1df2.
Just tried it can’t get it land on left side.
@@mahadirfankhan6582 Thanks for confirming. I thought I was going crazy. It seems like a bug, but I can't say for sure. I just know that I can do it on the right side with minimal effort, but just can't get it on the left.
I've finally been vindicated, I gave all this feedback after the cnt beta in the survey and they finally did it. Now he is as he should be how the hell B2,2,1+2 wasnt Always this way is mind boggling. Now I can play my favourite character again.
imo, I’ll ask for 2 buffs, then I’m happy with kazuya.
1. In Heat, demon fist is 15 frames.
2. Revert the heaven’s gate damage or bring back the double cd input for true damage.

i feel like its way easier to get d2 instead of electric in t8. I even went back to t7 and tried it on p1 doing dewgf,ddewgf, and ss ewgf and didint have the same problem. T8 input display is consistently giving me one frame of d2, and the going to df2 on the next available frame. 5 year mishima veteran btw

Well that was a legit bug. Does it suck? Yes. He lost a lot since the beginning and honestly if a bugged move was needed to make him somewhat viable then Bamco isn’t doing a good job in balancing him as a character. I’m still going to main him but yea it is really strange why he has to be so weak and high execution.

Can someone explain to me what is the difference between EWGF and PEWGF ? I always thought that EWGF was a perfect frame WGF, there is something even further beyond that ??
pewgf is: f(1 frame) > n(1 frame) > df2
Basically you can only take 2 frames for the forward and neutral inputs before you hit df2
Both are perfect frame. There are 2 main difference, the first being the input for Ewgf is ➡️⭐⬇️↘️ while Pewgf ➡️⭐↘️. Second is ewgf come out at 14f while Pewgf come out at 13f.

Switch on command history with Frame input data on.
This is Old-Head knowledge that needs to be abolished.
You can hold forward even 45f so long as you release it at your first active frame and the next 2 inputs are 1 after the other.
glad they buffed it, PEWG felt like a cosmetic effect considering how hard it is to do and the little payoff you got from doing it. Kaz might be up there for the most balanced character in the game right now, little to no BS moves that carry the player, still a bit hard to play and just the same strong tools that are even more viable now.

The 3 electric combo for tekken 8 is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than the tekken 7 3 electric combo. Connecting the bound is not easy even though I'm microdashing. It has to be super super super precise.
Yes, the route with b 2, 1 from Tekken 7 is much much easier.
For all stressing for triple electric, There is no reason to learn triple electric other than style points.

A) 2 electrics b22 does 1 less damage for the 31 df14 ender
B) 2 electrics 31 cd1+2 does 2 less damage for the b221+2 ender
Both of these are incredibly consistent and easy
In the first scenario you can even do Electric Fujin Uraken and get the exact same damage as triple electric
Triple electric unlocking gigantic damage is a bit of an exaggeration when at best its a 2 damage optimisation with insane execution requirements

How come bandai namco didn't saw kazuya's rising 2 counter hit knock down followed by shikuaayu turns into a launcher. If anything just fix that and anyways there's not too much to say about the 1.05 patch on short notice, need time for things to really open up before we.can say anything and just quit the kazuya wining for God's sake

Kazuya still needs more damage in this game imo. I can do 80-85 damage easy off any yoshimitsu launcher with no wall, resources or execution. The reward for these high execution combos should be higher

I wonder how many times you guys will lose, cuz DF1 dropped after 3 combo ewgf, it's fun to do, but not optimal at all, the risk of dropping the combo does not worth for 4 damage, when most of the time you can't even get a wall combo with the max. wall carry option. Just go for the 100% reliable combo. The only thing that worth doing with the DF1 buff is PEWGF, cuz if you miss the PEWGF you can save the combo much easier with B2,4/B2,2 DF1,DF2 than before.
The thing is that it is optimal and very consistent once you've learnt it obviously if you don't know how to do it it won't be worth the 4dmg due to dropping the combo
@@KamDaMan2007 There is no Kazuya mains with 100% consistency, that's the problem, not even TMM, not even PGF, no one. This will drop more enough to think, is it worth it? It is worth it if you want fun, but competitively it's not optimal.

@@KamDaMan2007 DF1,DF2 is very risky, if it whiffs it's a guaranteed launch from your opponent basically. Most characters can go to a safe position from combo drops, they have so many cancels in their combo tools and stuff.
