@@shashankkumar8047 this was not the case for Karisma. ( for Kareena yes ). Karisma didnt have any advantage of being a Kapoor girl. She got trolled for her looks , clothes etc. No big banners signed her. She did so many low budget , less significant roles for 5 years but it was her hard work + dedication that made her number 1 later. In the early 90s, when the magazines listed future stars ( expected stars ), she was nowhere . The list mostly included Manisha, Raveena, Manta, Kajol - nobody gave importance to Karisma , however by 96, she left all others behind ( except Kajol perhaps ) and got to the top.

I think she refuse to understand that film industry is highly competitive and very brutal with failures so only few actresses remain at top positions for 8 to 10 years. There is some reason that Kareena, rani mukherjee and priyanka chopra gone ahead.
