  • Jake Reiner is the third generation of Hollywood comedy legends. Born in Los Angeles, he is the son of renowned actor/director Rob Reiner and the grandson of comedy icon Carl Reiner. Despite his family's storied legacy in comedy, Jake initially pursued a career in TV news. From 2013 to 2023, he served as a general assignment reporter, sports reporter, and anchor for KION (Salinas), KPRC (Houston), and KCBS (Los Angeles). While he was acting part-time in Los Angeles, Jake decided to leave KCBS in 2023 to follow his true passion, continuing the family tradition in comedy and acting.
Recently, Jake starred as the co-lead in "Love and Taxe$", a 70s-era independent romantic comedy feature. The film won Best Comedy at the 2024 Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, where Jake also received the award for Best Actor in a Comedy and was the first runner-up for Best Actor in the entire festival. His other notable acting work includes a role in the final season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO Max, as well as appearances in "For All Mankind," "American Crime Story," and "68 Whiskey." Additionally, Jake starred in and executive produced the upcoming film "Things Like This."
Beyond acting, Jake Reiner is also involved in producing, directing, and starring in comedy sketches for Sunday Morning Digital on Means TV and writes and stars in sketches for Cracked.
