Aside from the privilege, I can't imagine it's easy to be compared to her mom, who was both academically gifted and a world-class beauty. Not shedding any tears for her, but it makes her stilted attempts at sounding cultured more understandable.
I mean, it’s clear she’s not stupid. I have a STEM PhD but after listening to her book club, it’s clear she currently reads more than I do and has a good understanding of some of the topics she discusses solely because she’s willing to listen to the creators.
And honestly with the great schools she went to as a child, that’s what I would expect. It would be harder to go to great schools and be dumb. I wish I’d gone to schools that good.
