You cant lose with any Bob Seger song. he was part of my 70's, and I've seen him live 4 times, he ROCKS IT...Great to see younger folks reacting to classic music...
Night Moves. Turn the Page, and Against the Wind are absolute requirments in your Bob Seger journey.
H O T, there is. no bad Bob Segar. That voice. Play some more of him.
So many songs. No one has done the Travelin Man & Beautiful Loser medley from the Live Bullet. Itâs 100% classic Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.
Hereâs some suggestions from the very beginning.
Heavy Music (screamin) '67
2+2 = ? (psychedelic protest) '68
Ramblin' Gamblin' Man (stompin') '68
Lucifer (hard driving) '70
Turn the Page (weary) â72
Midnight Rider (cranked up Allman Bros) '72
Rosalie (local) '73
Get Out of Denver (ol' timey) '74
Katmandu (rockin') '75
Travelin' Man (propulsive) + Beautiful Loser (classic) '75-76
Night Moves (breakthrough & best) â76
Come to Poppa (funky) '76
Fire Down Below (nasty!) '76
Sunspot Baby (honkytonk) 76
Nutbush City Limits (cover of Tina Turner) '76
Sunburst (thoughtful) '76
Mainstreet (bluesy) '77
Yea buddy!!!
What missed? If you haven't listened to Bob Seger before...a helluva lot of good music. Start with Night Moves and Hollywood Nights and proceed down the list.

" Against the Wind " my favorite Bob Seger song.
Start with his first hit from the late 60's Rambling Gambling Man, Night Moves, Like a Rock, Brave Strangers, and so many more.
Nobody tells a story like Bob, incredible story writer and singer/guitarist
Seger is always bad ass. Try some old ZZ top, like "Beer drinkers and Hell Raisers, Jesus just left Chicago, or Thug.
Bob is so legendary. Listen to more of his music. Turn the page is good
First of many greats from Bob Seger.
Thanks for listening
He's one of the best. You 've got a long way to go to catch up.
This is definitely Detroit 1970's sound.
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band are amazing.
Legendary.
My favorite Bob Seger song is Fire Down Below. But you canât go wrong with any Seger song. Heâs got an endless array of huge hits.
This is a cover. The original was âCome to Mamaâ. Bob changed one line to make it LESS dirty. But with that voice, and the funky guitar, itâs pretty dirty. In a good way.
Songs like. Like a rock and against the wind were last gasp.
And thatâs what a lot of people know him for. But he had two decades of good music before that it was freaking amazing. Live bullet baby.
Night Moves, Turn The Page,Against The Wind..Great Story Teller, Seger All Blues/Rock
Weâre talking about a booty call!!!!! They had those even way back in 1976. Check out âfire lakeâ
Sunspot Baby, Ramblin Gamblin Man are two great Seger tunes to start with. Love this! đ. Check out Grand Funk Railroad âParanoidâ for some heavy fuzz guitar and bass. Itâs not the Sabbath tune, it came out a year before and kicks some serious ass. The studio version is the best one for CZcams, the live ones donât catch it well. đ
This was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with Bob and The Swampers. There is so much to learn about the recording studios in Muscle Shoals!!
Fire down below was my favorite back in the day.
Just can't go wrong with Seger! â€
Us MI boys dig some segar,I wasn't old enough to see him an shoot I was born in 76
brother bob is one of the all time greats. many great songs but i would do roll me away.bob and nightwish my favs
âTryin To Live My Life Without Youâ and âRock and Rill Never Forgetsâ on the Nine Tonight (live) album
I love that I just heard your little girl in the background. That's the definition of this song. And let me tell you something brother, if your friends can't come do you like they're your papa, you don't have the right to tell your wife and children, to come to Papa. â€â€â€â€
There were so many fantastic bands in the 70s. You could go down the Alphabet A is for Allman Brothers, Z is for ZZ top and all the great bands in between
Love funky Bob. đ đđđ„đ„đ„
I believe this lad is about to start his journey down the rabbit hole. Where should he go next? I'm thinking feel like a number would be a good follow.
I love this song.
You wanna rock out, get down to classic 70âs rock? Backstreets, or Candyâs Room, by Springsteen, from his â78 album Darkness on the Edge of TownâŠYeah.
Night moves
Feel the funk
California Stars! Do it Get balls
Mainstreet
You gotta step back from this one, although a great one, and start with Bob from the mid 60's, like East Side Story, Lucifer, Persecution Smith and work your way forward to his last album drop, like 2017 ~ 60 year career, 18 studio albums, 2 live albums and a few compilations ~ The man has a deep and vast vault, jus' sayin'......
@@ms.chuckfu1088 I've seen you on other channel threads too! Good list and definitely favs!!!
Love East side story and persecution smith and like a rock and roll me away
Open the classic flood gates for that fella đ
Saw Seger a few years ago on his farewell tour--bad back...we held our tickets a year!. Sounded EXACTLY the same. The back may be slippin' but the talent ain't.
I love your laugh ..loved this so soulful really incredible vibe thanku so much ..brilliant reaction much love an god bless x
Thank you so much!!
I was 14 years old summer of 1977 and went to my first concertâŠ..Bob Segar in Detroit. Yeah. That was my official introduction to live rock & rollâŠ.life is good. đđđŒđ
Bob Seger does not have a bad songâŠtake your pick!! Actually, try âRoll Me Awayâ
