- Window cleaning involves alot of repetitive movements.
By eliminating movements or using movements with less stress to the body will extend our bodies and prolong our careers.
Many ways to achieve this, here is a look at using a pole to clean high and low windows with less fatigue.
Not only does using a pole help reduce movements but it helps perform the task with less bending.
Even how we close out each stroke can create less body stress or quicker movements. - Jak na to + styl
Quick changes -very good

Good job, been doing windows for 20 yrs Love my business and clients.
Great tip. Great technique.
Good to see techniques others use. These techniques aren't necessarily for everyday use but for situations
Good job
Use a swivel tbar, and get even less fatigue
very good job
Eyes up close on glass, you could smear a bug or miss stick tape residue..plus you can full detail frames and seals .. some of my high end vehicle showroom clients, Lamborghini, Ferrari , McLaren , Bentley, Lotus Volkswagen, Mazda , Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW , being more professional gets those jobs
Tremendous
Great video Jeff .
I have a couple years experience , almost all residential .
Most commercial I have done were first time , or infrequent, and needed more ladder work …
I’m not amazing with a pole( I’m getting better ) .
I have gotten a few storefronts now , and was really wanting to get away from any detailing on commercial ( obviously sills get squeegeed )
I’m so used to ragging every edge , I have a hard time piling and walking away.. it I need to get my speed up for the store fronts
Speed will come, sounds like are doing it right! Concentrate on quality then speed will develop.
You make it look really easy I’m still trying to get used to learning how to use the pole and not leave a bunch of streaks. I’ve only been doing it for a couple years and I know the only way to make it to Carnegie Hall. Is through practice practice practice?
YEs, and professional tools, he uses Sörbo ✌😎
why dont you use a wagtail or moermon. seems like it would go faster that way.
Wagtail doesn't hold water or scrub well for our work. Can er helpful for reoccurring route work though
A fine pole technique, i do suggest a 4-6" sill squeegee, i use a 4". This can be an old worn blade cutting. This will extend the blade usage on the squeegee.
I understand it is somewhat common to use a separate sill squeegee. My question is what benefit will carrying another squeegee? It seems to add another step, putting one squeegee away to grab another to do the same job the first would have done. Explain why you prefer a sill squeegee.
What squeegee are you using? It looks like it flexes to adjust to the angle you’re cleaning from?
Using Sorbo swivel handle with wide nody 18" channel. The handle does not lock in place like the Unger Ninja or others so is nice and allowed to adapt to angles without adjusting by hand.
Nice. those gloves water proof or close to it?
Yes, these are 3/4 dipped above knuckles, very durable, not bulky and waterproof.
Memphis glove 127-8780L nitrile coated glove
@@windowwarriorsforum9112 Awesome thanks
Here is another full waterproof we use, Majestic Superdex Pro Plus 3237
Duh ?
👍🏻
Como conseguir um material top igual o seu?
Which material?
I use a step ladder and eyes on glass technique more professional
You say more professional but I say each of our end results could be the same. Both able to clean without any imperfections using different techniques.Difference being using a pole can clean these four windows in 1/4 the time and a complex like this has over 100 sets of 4 windows. Efficiency can be increased and keeping quality in mind. I would encourage you to consider the time it takes you to clean with your method vs using a pole. Neither is the only way or proper way but comes down to user preference, size of jobs, work being performed and how many windows can we clean professionally per day.
Could mop them better.
Better? This is a great comment, depending on how dirty the windows being cleaned are depends how much scrubbing is needed. If you over scrub your costing unneeded time and loosing profit. A property that is cleaned one time per year requires much more scrubbing time than a reoccurring storefront, agree?
We each must determine this but not waste time if not needed on every site as they all differ somewhat. Thank you
@@windowwarriorsforum9112 At least wet the whole pane when you're demonstrating. Sure you can get away with it on frequently cleaned comm tinted panes. The newbies should know that the real work is done with the scrubbing. Don't work too hard though! 😉
Remember we all have our own techniques and everyone can always take something positive away from seeing another person's process. The key is being open minded and focus on our individual development. This is a wonderful industry with great potential.
