With the amount of effort and love you put into this mod, it is honestly a sin that it isn't an official product.
may the day come soon....when corps no longer can deny Rad moders making stand alone material like this...to garner some official support for the products they make.
mods only increase sales of abandoned products.....its a crime how corps can get extra sales or outright rip ideas and hundreds of houers worth of dev time and software refinement from mods without paying a single cent in royalty to moders...while said moders not even breath about getting monetary support without corp algorithms descending upon them like the vultures they are.
@@Amoth_oth_ras_shash Just remember, a mod like Mental Omega exists only by the good will of the IP owner. The world does not work the way you want it to. You should mostly just be glad EA doesn't hammer down fan projects like Mental Omega, Twisted Insurrection and Renegade X. Unlike say.. Nintendo.
Recently I had a bit of a weird dream where, much like how Rashidi struck a deal with the Foehn Revolt, Lieutenants Eva Lee and Zofia (for the Allies and Soviets respectively) have to negotiate an alliance after the Revolt (acting as a mediator) rescues both of them from the aftermath of Yuri's plans. There was another dream as well, though this one had some major plotholes in hindsight (such as Dugan being alive and in command of the Antarctica expedition, and Libra falling to her doom after a bridge blows out underneath her), where the activation of Yuri's Tower caused vegetation to overgrow and attack everything, culminating in giant plant-like humanoid replicas of Dugan and Romanov, who were to assume command of their respective factions as Yuri's puppets.
I guess the point to me bringing all this up is that I am quite hooked into the story, and am really anxious to see how it plays out in the end.
Though another part of me wonders how the final events are going to be spread out over two missions apiece for each faction. I mean, the Allies shouldn't have much fortress left to go until they reach Yuri's Tower (especially having pierced the beachhead and reached the Old Chronosphere), much of the groundwork for the Soviets retaking Moscow has been laid in two covert missions already, the Epsilon Driller just needs to get Libra and Rahn to the Tower, and the Foehn Revolt just needs to head further north and dig in. It could very well be that I'm missing something, but I'm really curious to see how the last missions of Act 2 play out.
The plant thing reminds me of Super Paper Mario when Luigi got a plant planted on his head to control him.

It seems we have found the last bastion's main base of operations, just as the information while playing as them in skirmish tells us.
Why do I feel the last mission of the Origins will be a role reversal of Polar Storm?

This mission is the founding of last bastion. The next mission named vanishing point, it probably meant that during that mission the tower of Babel was already activated and the paradox engine was destroyed on the south pole and the Soviet was defeated on Moscow. The last fight mission is named the remnant it probably means that everyone below the southern hemisphere is now under epsilon mind control and the mission is a tower defense against an onslaught of epsilon forces attacking the last bastion here at Alaska.
Why do I get the feeling that Act III is just going to have two Campaigns, Foehn and Epsilon?
Maybe the Allies and Soviets get a couple Coop and Covert missions until they join Foehn or die against Libra
At the same time I feel like the last Soviet mission (Death's Hand) will be a titanic amalgamation of Red Revolution, Chrono Storm, AND Robot Storm from Mental Omega 2.0....with a massive injection of steroids.
Oh boy! Another mission for the Foehn! Time for another epic REVOLT!

The Proton cannon hasn't been invented yet, so PF had to use oil barrel as a temporary bomb suply
The fact the Harbingers enter the battlefield to the iconic The Remnant theme couldn't have made it anymore epic and fitting.
This mission is my favorite! It makes my blood boiling! The victory means more hope!

it's possible, but harbingers and tarchia cannons made a major appearance here. it's also possible that the diverbees are their creation before they ship it to the Haiheads

This was the founding of last bastion. Seeing the mission took place in Alaska. To me haihead is formed by various survivors around the world seeing the map of haihead is multiple blurred country. Wings of Coronia is probably located on the pacific ocean and prevents epsilon forces from invading the last bastion from the west.

The mission is called The Great Beyond, but the foehn's Beyond soundtrack did not played at the start of the mission, a bit dissapointed :\ but still Stormbringer is great choice because the mission starts with a plane flying above ur base which is oddly fitting.
also i cant play this mission right now because my goddamn laptop is broken, ughhh...

Hi sir I already downloaded and launched the game but everytime I'm trying to build Cloud piercer or Overkernel it's not building. Restarted the game many times.
It's been a year. Hopefully Act II finale missions will be added by the end of the year.
i dont mind if foehn is not gonna have a full campaign against Epsilon, i just hope they have missions about other origins in foehn like the founding of coronia and haihead cuz the great beyond was the last bastion`s first debut i think... also missions that introduce the foehn heroes.
Is Rashidi still a Scorpion Cell leader? But I did not see any SC forces who works for them.
So the pasific front wil turn into the wings of coronia and china wil turn into hailhead so scorpion cell wil be last bastion in the future?

I know Foehn originated from remnant of Scorpion Cell and Chinese forces, but how and when the Allies forces join it?
That's PF+KI forces joined Yunru.
Pacific Front were helping Kanegawa Industries and trying to keep them safe. KI joined the Revolt, and PF followed.

Why is the cell leader part of this? Isn't he part of the epsilon faction. Also I noticed that all foehn missions there still isn't any foehn units present.
In the mission "Obsidian Sands", Scorpion Cell betrays Epsilon.
When Rashidi saw the might of Paradox Engine, he started to doubt Yuri's power and influence.

I don't think the escape is their goal at all the epsilon can still intercepted them.
One thing they didn't know was that the Russians were on the moon. Another thing is that it wouldn't take long for Epsilon to get there again.

I don't get it why this is a Foehn Mission and you play Allied units.
It's an origin campaign not the actual Foehn campaign.
Of course you'll be controlling allied and Soviet stuff cause this is still the prologue.
